I’d like to think that Dylan does not exist. Pero ang hirap. Ikaw ba naman, makita mo ba naman sya palagi pagkalabas na pagkalabas mo pa lang sa building mo, pagkapasok mo pa lang sa cafeteria o sa library at kahit sa gym! And during your hospital duty, lagi syang dumadaan sa area nyo o kaya laging nakatambay sa may parking lot ng hospital. My god! Every where! Buti nga sana kung simpleng nakikita mo lang sya sa lahat ng pupuntahan mo sa school eh, pero hindi eh! Ngininisian ka nya eh o kaya kinikindatan!

Ugh! The way he treats me changed ever since that dinner happened. Dati parang balewala na lang kami sa isa’t isa tapos ngayon he’s acting really strange and I hate it.

Two full weeks. Yes, two full weeks nya akong binubwisit ng ganyan. Pero ang mas nakakabwisit ngayon, hindi kami lumabas nila mommy at daddy right after na magsimba. Instead, we went buying some stuffs for decorating at binigla kaming sabihan na ngayon daw kami magreredecorate ng bahay ng mga Sebastian.

My mouth literally fell open the moment mom said that. I tried protesting and telling her that i got stuffs to do. But all she said was, “Walang apsok bukas ah? Holiday.” Then my world crashed down.

“What a surprise! Halika kayo, pasok pasok.” Tita Rose gestured us as she was really surprised. Parang kami lang ng kapatid ko na sobrang surprised. Tho, Jemimah didn’t seem to have any problems.

“Kayo talaga, hindi man lang kayo nagsabi edi sana napaghandaan ko ang pagdating nyo, kumpadre.” Tito Edgar said to my dad.

They continued chit chatting a bit as I looked around.

They have a great house, malayong mas malaki kumpara sa amin kahit na parehas na dalawang palapag. Their house is more like sophisticaTed. I can’t like how Dylan lives here eh parang basag ulo lang naman ang alam nun. I rolled my eyes with just by the thought of him.

“Hey.” I got stratled when I recognized how close that husky voice was. I swear, tumayo lahat ng balahibo ko. Sino ba namang hindi magugulat kung biglang bumulong sayo yung taong iniisip mo?! Ugh!

“Oops, sorry.” Mapanloko nyang sabi. I stopped myself from violently hitting him with the vase beside me. Bahay nila to, Maxine.

“Oh, ayan na pala eh!” Napalingon kaming dalawa sa pinanggalingan ng boses. We saw my parents walking through the house, marahil ay naglilibot din. “Maxine found Dylan.” Malaki ang ngiti ni Tita Rose habang sinasabi iyon.

“No, mom. I found her.” Tila makahulugang sabi ni Dylan. Our parents laughed a little while my mom smiled really wide. I know what they were thinking and I don’t like it!

“Hijo, why don’t you show Maxine what’s upstairs so that she could decide what to do?” His dad suggesTed.

“Do what, dad?” Nagtatakang tanong ni Dylan.
