~Melanie~

Her words echoed through my mind.

"Me or Ashley."

I don't know what I want.

Ashley didn't actually cheat on me.

Marina did

"You can't make her chose." Ashley defends me.

"I actually can." Marina glares at her. She looks at me. "So?"

My hands shake.

"I c-can't." I say.

"It's okay Melanie. You don't have to chose." Ashley says rubbing my back.

"Yes she does." Marina interrupts.

I have had enough of this

I'm done with Marinas attitude

I'm done with Marinas lies

I'm done with Marinas "apologies"

"You want me to chose?" I say getting frustrated.

"Yes." Marina says crossing her arms.

"Well. This is what I chose." I grab Ashley's face and kiss her.

She immediately wraps her arms around my waist and kisses me back. She slips her tongue in my mouth and I hear Marina scoff.

We pull away breathlessly.

"That's what I chose." I say intertwining my hands with Ashley's.

Marina rubs her temples.

"Okay both of you need to leave."  She says

"Gladly." Ashley grabs my hand and we get into her car.

"Melanie, once again, I am so sorry. I was drunk and I promise it didn't mean anything." Ashley says looking at me.

"It's fine. Calum kissed me anyways."

Her eyes widen.

"W-what?"

"Calum tried to make a move on me. But I quickly pulled away and that's when I went looking for you. So yeah. I'm fine. We all were drunk." I grab her hand.

She starts the car and drives back to our apartment.

We get in and I lay on the couch.

She looks at me and smiles. She then stares at my arm.

"Fuck Melanie I'm so sorry." She bursts into tears.

"Ashley it's fine. I'm fine." I say getting up and hugging her.

She cups my face and stares into my eyes as if she was lost in them.

"I thought I lost you."

"You did. But only for a little bit."

~Ashley~

"You did. But only for a little bit."

Those words echoed in my head.

"But I'm here now." She says reassuringly.

"I love you Melanie." I say.

Our noses touch slightly.

"I love you too Ashley. Can you promise me something?"

"Of course."

She hesitates for a moment.

"Promise me you will never cheat on me. And to never lie to me."

I kiss her nose.

"I promise." I say connecting our pinkies.

She smiles at me.

We stay there, resting foreheads.

I lean in and press my lips against hers.

Our lips moving perfectly with each other.

"Bedroom?" I ask breathlessly.

"Take me right here."

~3 months later~

"Ashley." Melanie whines.

"Yeah?" I say still staring at my phone screen.

"What do you want to do today?" She asks running her hands through my natural brown hair.

"Mm you." I smirk at her.

"Ashy I'm serious."

"I am too. I wanna kiss your lips." I say putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Then do it." She says leaning in.

"Not those. These ones." I say looking down.

"You nasty." She laughs.

"You know you want me too."

"Go away."

"No." I say straddling her.

I kiss her neck.

"Mm go away." She bites her lip.

"Don't want to."

"Ashley I'm serious. We should go to a beach."

I stop kissing her neck and look at her.

"Why? So I can fuck you in the water?" I slowly trail my fingers up her thigh.

"You sound like a 17 year old boy. Stop making everything sexual."

"You know you like it." I laugh

"Maybe. Maybe not." She raises her eyebrow.

"Your so hot." I kiss her jaw.

"I know right?"

I roll my eyes.

"Self centered."

"I hate you."

"I love you."

"At least you think you do."

I frown.

"I don't think. I know I love you."

She smiles.

"Okay can you just kiss me or are you gonna keep doing this."

"Your the one distracting me."

"Fuck you."

"Okay." I kiss her roughly. I can feel her smiling into the kiss. I slowly unbutton her shorts and move down to her neck.

"But we're still going to the beach right?" She asks tangling her hands in my hair.

"Stop talking." I say taking off her shirt.
