Tyler's POV

I immediately park and wipe my tear stained eyes with the sleeves of my sweater. As I walk into the hospital I hear someone call my name, It's Jenna's little sister, Isabelle, I immediately engulf her into the tightest hug possible
"Tyler?"
"Hmm?"
"You're crushing my insides."
"oh oops" I say as I drop her down to the ground.
"Where is she?" I say squatting down
"She's asleep Tyler! She won't wake up!! I keep calling her name! She won't wake up!!"
The tiny seven year old screams as she pounds her fists on my chest.
Her mom carries her away and comforts the screaming little girl, wondering what's going on.

---TIME JUMP CAUSE I'M A LAZY HOE---
2 hours later...
I sit there, back against the wall, head in my hands. I count the tears falling to the floor
1---2----3--------4,5,6---. Then I feel a buzz in my pocket. I pull out my phone.
👽JISH: I'm on my way to the hospital rn.

ME: No. 1.) I can't have someone else in a car crash 2.) I don't want you to see me like this.

2 minutes later
👽JISH: are you sure babyboy?

ME: Yes. Plz. Go home. Play Mario cart. I'll call you later.

👽JISH: okay. Promise?

ME: Promise.

👽JISH: okay. I love you babyboy

Oh fuck. Did he just say I love you? Oh god think fast!

ME: I love you too

And with my heart thumping, I slide my phone back in my pocket and hope what I just did wasn't wrong.
