AFTER THE PARTY..

"So where are we going?" I say looking over at Josh
"Somewhere."
"Josh are we about to go to the woods a fuck?"
"What no!" He says confused
"Just wait babyboy.." Josh says mysteriously as he drives and places his large hand on my thigh.
------TEN MINUTES LATER-------
We pull up to a record shop.
"Give me your hand." I grab his hand and push open the door.
The smell of the store has a sweet smell of coffee and mold. My black vans hit the cement floor as I pull Josh along to the vinyls.
"Woah! Slow down there buddy. Listen! I have a plan okay?"
I nod
"Okay so. We have to fly to Columbus so I thought we would buy each other CDs so on the flight there we can listen to them and talk about them on our next date!"
"AWW JOSHIE THAT'S SO CUTE. OKAY!"
I run towards the perfect CD, A night at the opera by Queen. My all time favorite album. I go up to the cashier and pay
"Is that your boyfriend?" The cashier asks.
"Yeah!" I reply
"Aww. Well I'm gay too."
"Ahh cool!"
"Well that's a gonna be 12.05$."
I pull out my money and give it to the cashier
"OH WAIT LET ME GET SOMETHING FOR YOU!" He runs in the back and 30 seconds later he comes back with a rainbow flag sticker
"From one gay to another." And hands me my bag.
"Thanks!"
"Bye!" He yells to me as I walk to Josh's car.
I get in Josh's car.
"Can I have my CD?" I say impatiently
"No wait till Tuesday for our flight."
"UGH OKAY." I slump into my chair and Josh pulls away from the record shop and drives towards a pond near his work and our apartment.
"Ty will you grab that blanket?"
"Yes sir."
He smirks
He pulls up and walks around to open the door for me.
I hand him the blanket and he walks down near the pond and lays it down. He turns around and sticks his hand out for me to grab it.
We lay down and absorb the darkness and small specks of light in the sky.
"Jish?"
"Yes?"
"I love you. Thank you for working at the hospital so I can go to Dr.Wylie and cooking for me and doing things like this for me and coming to see me when Jenna passed and--"
"Ty! I do it because I love you. You mean the world to me and I wish I could do more but that's all I can do for now. I do want to marry your beautiful soul and face one day and have kids and grow old together but until then I want to cherish every moment with you. So let's take in what we have now." He pulls me close and I bury my face into his chest.
"Since Jenna, You've been my coping mechanism. "
And while the night went on it got later and later and finally the two giddy boys in love went home
