The wind blew furiously, pushing her forward as she made her way down the dark, cold, snow-covered road. The only foot prints came from her and the ones she followed. She didn't know where she was, or how the foot prints got there, she just kept following them. Her hands were shoved in her pockets of her thick winter coat and her hat was tucked comfortably under her hood.

It felt she was walking for hours on end as the road was long and empty. Then she came to a stop when the foot prints did. She looked up and around, they stopped in front of a tall building which was surrounded by trees and snow. No sign of life anywhere, not even animals.

Her shaky hand turned the door knob and she slowly entered. The building was strangely warm but still held a slight chill in the air. There was a front desk, an elevator, two flights of stairs, and a lobby. Sort of like a hotel. Without carpet. As she walked, the sound of her boots bounced against the walls, leaving a slight echo. The gravel and rocks crunched underneath her feet as she proceeded passed the elevator that had a sign taped to it that read 'Out of Order', and to the first flight of stairs. The big metal door creaked open and the wooden steps welcomed her. She started up and the building got darker all of a sudden. Each step groaned under her feet until she made it to another big metal door.

It also creaked open like the first one and a chill ran down her spine as she stepped through.

Lana bolted awake surrounded by a cold sweat. She breathed heavily as she looked around. She was lying on some sort of hospital bed in a room with concrete walls and floors. It had one door and one window straight ahead of her and beside her was a small table covered with a white cloth and many tools scattered on top of it. She was completely alone.

She sat up on the edge of the bed and stood, only to fall back down to her knees. She groaned as she caught herself with her hands and panted. She felt light headed and nauseous and her leg was on fire. She looked down and closed her eyes as memories of the crash flooded her. Giant shard of glass. Erin. Where is Erin.

"Erin!"  Her voice was harsh and dry as if she's been out for a few days, no doubt. She cleared her throat and coughed before yelling again.

"Erin!"

"Help!"

"Erin!"

"Someone help me-"

"I see you've finally awoken," a voice startled Lana, but she didn't know where it was coming from. The voice echoed in the small wide room. She looked around, panicked, and spotted a camera in the corner of the room. Left side. Above the bed.

"It's been a few days," he laughed. "I'm sure you don't know who I am, or where you are, but you will soon find out. Goodness, I've been waiting for this for too long! I can't wait to touch you...to just see you in person again,"

"Let me out of here!"

"Uh-uh, no. I'm afraid I can't do that yet."

"Why not?"

Lana waited for an answer she wasn't going to get in the first place.

"I asked you a question! Who are you?!" But she became hopeless when she realized her questions wouldn't be answered. Not yet. She began to look around the room for any weapons. And like she should have before, she acknowledged the table of tools. But there's a camera. He will be watching me. She didn't know if the camera had good enough quality, but decided it was best not to eye the tools too much; Don't give anyone ideas. Remain clueless. Something her parents taught her, to get through times sort of like this.

The door made a loud noise which startled Lana again. She shuffled into a corner, right underneath the camera. Did it unlock? Her question was answered when the giant heavy door opened. Electric. She waited, but no one entered. It didn't even seem like anyone was there.
