She looked at the clock above the couch she was sitting on, and then back to Alex and some other guy guarding the front door. Two more men guarded the back. Two hours. They have been in Lana's house for two hours, since Hayden left with Re'nae. He would be back soon though and Lana wanted nothing more than to see her child.

"Alex..." She spoke. He nodded his head towards her as if asking what she wanted.

"I'm hungry..."

"It's your house, isn't it?"

She slowly nodded and stood up.

"Get me something while you're at it, sweet cheeks," He snickered. Lana rolled her eyes and quickly walked to the kitchen. She closed the kitchen door behind her and locked it, leaning on the counter. She let out a deep sigh and dug into a draw for her 'emergency' pack of cigarettes and after lighting one, that's when the tears fell.

Hayden is back.

He has me.

He found me.

He has Re'nae.

Eric.

Noah.

Erin.

Alex.

He's going to kill me.

Why is Alex doing this, of all people?

They were uncontrollable as her thoughts were, but she kept a straight face, she hadn't even realized she was crying until she heard the doorknob jiggle.

"Hold on!" She sniffed. Lana took a few more pulls before putting it out and opening both windows.

They knocked again, this time faster, and called Lana's name through the door. Alex.

"I'm coming, damn!" She put the box and lighter in her bra and took a deep breath, wiping her tears before she unlocked the door. Alex leaned against the door frame with a smirk on his face.

"Why is the door locked?"

"It's the only source of privacy I get,"

"Well it smells like smoke. Can you spare one?"

Lana hesitated whether she should give him one or not.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Alex."

"I'm not stupid, I know you smoke. We go way back, Lana."

Lana sighed and pulled out the pack, asking Alex not to tell Hayden.

"I won't. It's a good thing you came in here, Hayden wants you to start dinner, he says we're staying here tonight."

Here, tonight?

Hope filled Lana again, she knew her home better than anyone. The hidden panic rooms, the hidden weapons, everything because she set it up due to her mental suffering.

I don't want to cook for him. Or maybe...

"Where did he take Re'nae?" She quickly asked.

"He took her back to where we were staying." Lana's eyes widened and her heart rate picked up, Hayden has Re'nae and he's at that place. He has her.

"He won't do anything to her. Trust me, that's his child."

"Why would I trust you?"

"Because, I'm not Hayden,"
