-"Good, good. We will do this once, maybe twice every two days, until you understand what you've done."
*
2 days later -Lana sat at the edge of the bed thinking of everything that went wrong. How? How had she managed to fuck up so bad and lose the people she loves the most? How did she end up going back to her terrible past after the many years spent running away from it? How? How will I see my babies again...
"Lana, I hope you're almost ready."
She was still stuck in the same room she woke up in on her first day here. Except now, she had a coffee machine placed on a dresser by the window. Why, she didn't know, but it did justice. Lana limped over to the coffee machine and began to make her cup. Coffee, creamer, then sugar. She didn't know where Hayden was taking her, nor did she want to think about it - he could be taking her somewhere to kill her and abandon her. So she took as much time as she could to enjoy her cup of coffee.
Hayden barely gave her a change of clothes; Only a new shirt and socks. Not that that would help much. She still hasn't showered or anything and all she had to eat was bread. Like a caged in animal. He told her that if she was good, she would have a full course meal. But she didn't think she would be there that long. Hopefully.
She had on her black T-shirt, the same jeans and of course, her socks. She wouldn't wear her heels anywhere, especially with Hayden. Her jeans were stained with red as her wound had opened up a few times from her struggling and fighting.
"I'm sending my brother down to get you. Be good, Lana. I'll meet you guys at the door."
She gulped down half of her cup and eyed the table of tools that was still in the room beside her bed. Thankfully, they hadn't been used on her yet, but she planned on being the one to use them. She waited a few seconds before grabbing the pair of surgical scissors and shoving them in the waistband of her dirty jeans. As if on que, the door unlocked and slowly opened. And there stood Alex.
When she turned around she froze. She knew. She knew he looked familiar and now she remembered he was Hayden's brother. And for some reason, she felt betrayed. Because Alex was never like this. Alex wouldn't hurt her.
"Lana..."
"Don't talk to me."
She refilled her cup before limping over to the door beside Alex. She stopped and looked at him, shaking her head.
Disgusting.
The door closed and they proceeded down the hallway.
"Lana..." He attempted again.
"I said don't talk to me,"
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were the lady in charge here,"
Lana didn't say anything, she kept her head down and kept it pushing.
Alex didn't like it. He pushed her against the wall and she lost balance, nearly falling as her mug shattered on the ground. He grabbed her by her shirt and pinned her back up, both hands slammed on either side of her head to keep her in place. She winced away as he brought his face down closer to hers and chuckled.
"It's rude to ignore someone who's trying to have a conversation with you. Have some consideration would you?"
"Fuck you."
He grabbed her by the throat and brought her closer than she could imagine. Their lips almost touched, she could clearly feel and smell his breath.
