We had a show the next day and Benny had time at a recording studio. I couldn't see Liam. I just didn't have time. Thankfully, he understood. I told him that if he wasn't going to be understanding, I wasn't going to keep seeing him. I couldn't do my job and be worried that he was angry. He asked me to ride the bus with him to Nashville, but I didn't. I explained that I was making sure that things stayed slow. Also, the group was writing a new song and I wanted to be there. I did NOT tell him that.

By the time we got to Nashville, it was the middle of the night, so we didn't bother to check into the hotel. On short trips, it was just less hassle to sleep on the bus. Plus, it was familiar. Unless we were staying more than one night, I preferred the bus. Benny gave us the day off to see Nashville, as long as we worked hard tomorrow, recording another song and putting on a good show. The girls took Nancy and I went to find Liam.

I knocked on the door of his bus. One of the Katies answered. "He's still sleeping." she said, letting me in. I wandered back and climbed into his bunk. He was laying on his stomach. Sitting on his hips, I leaned down, kissing the back of his neck and ears. He swatted me away, but it didn't stop me. I moved down to his shoulders, kissing and touching, moving down further. Sliding back, I sat on his legs, rubbing him around his waist. I let my hands go back up, touching him from his bottom all the way to his shoulders.

"Do that again." he muttered. I touched him again, listening to him moan. "Oh, god, if you will wake me up every morning like that, I'll marry you, right now." Laughing, I rubbed his back again and moved down to his sides. He groaned and rolled over. "More!" he said. He looked so relaxed and happy, that I kept going, rubbing his arms and chest. I could feel him getting excited, so I stopped rubbing him and sat back. "Why are you stopping?"

"I don't want to start something I can't finish. I'm not ready for that again, yet."

Liam reached up and pulled me down to his lips, kissing me over and over. "You make me so happy, Beth. Promise me that we will always be together?"

I laughed again. "I have officially known you for 17 days. Sure. Let's call it forever. Why the hell not?"

"Well, I promise." he frowned at me. I laughed and kissed him again. "Anyhow, what are you doing here?"

"I have the day off!" I shouted.

Liam frowned. "I don't." he said. "I have to record in," He looked at his watch. "Half and hour."

I sat back, disappointed. "Oh. Well, Okay." I said, shrugging. I couldn't very well throw a fit when I had said the same type of thing to him. I leaned down, kissing him again before wishing him luck and climbing out of his bunk. I pulled out my phone and starting looking for ways to entertain myself for the day. I found a tour that would pick me up just down the road, at the Holiday Inn. It was cheep and lasted all day, with a wine tasting at the end. I would spend the day looking at old southern homes. I loved things like that. It was perfect. I went back to my own bus, changed my shoes and grabbed a large sun hat. I had gotten a bit sunburned from walking around Greenfield Village and didn't want that to happen again. I grabbed my bag and headed out.

I passed Liam's bus. I heard him calling for me. "Wait! Beth! Lizzy! Damn it! Wait!" I stopped and turned. He caught me, grabbing my arms. "Are you angry with me?"

I laughed. "No. I'm not angry you. I need to go. My tour leaves at 10 and if I'm late, it leaves without me." I kissed his cheek and turned back around.

"Wait! You can't go alone! What if something happens to you?" Liam pleaded.

"I have been on tour for over a year. I go out by myself all the time. Nobody else likes to go site seeing. I'm used to being alone. It's all good." I waved and walked down to the hotel. I was early and waited at the tour pick up bench, reading a pamphlet about the tour. There was a Starbucks right in the hotel and I was just thinking about coffee, when a familiar SUV drove up. Liam hopped out.

"Why didn't you just wait? I only take 10 minutes to shower and dress. Paddy said I can go. He worked out a time swap with Niall. He will go record first. I get to go last. Where do I pay for this?"

"You don't need to do this, really! I'm fine." I said.

Liam sighed at me. "That's why I want to go. You aren't like any girl I've ever dated. You don't whine or complain when I can't do things. You don't beg for me to get you things or take you places. You figure things for yourself. You took me to that cookie place. This is so new to me. Who knew all girls weren't total prats if you didn't keep them entertained and covered in diamonds. I mean, really, I have gotten you a stuffed Panda and a hat. And you are happy. Sophia would have ripped the head off the Panda and fed it to me."

The idea of Liam eating a stuffed toy made me laugh so hard, I had to sit. "Okay! You can come. I'll get you a ticket. Go get me a cafe mocha or I'll make you eat that train hat." Liam smiled and hurried across the street while I paid for a ticket for him to come on the tour.

The bus was right on time and we were the only people under 60 on the trip. They all kept telling us how cute we looked, how young we were. Liam decided to tell them that we were newlyweds who had met on match.com. I was from Nashville. "You should just hear her adorable accent! It's why I love her."

I pinched him, hard, and smiled saying, "Hi, ya'll." as southern as I could. Fortunately, they were far more interested in Liam and his British accent. "And that's why I love him, ya'll. He just sound so darn much like James Bond! My momma just loves James Bond." That got me a pinch back.

We spent the morning at the home of Andrew Jackson, former president of the United States. We got to see inside and go into a museum about southern life during his time. They had a 'restaurant', and I say 'restaurant' because it was that southern favorite, the buffet. Liam stuffed himself with fried chicken, covered in maple syrup. I could only laugh as he devoured an entire plate. "What? I told you, I love chicken."

"You are all sticky." I said, pointing to his face. Liam decided that I needed a big wet kiss so I could be sticky, too, which made me laugh harder. We took picture after picture, just having a good time, being together. Finally, Liam pulled me into the gift shop and bought me and Andrew Jackson bobble head. He got himself a bottle of syrup, which he swore he was going carry to dinner every night.

Loading back on the bus, Liam held my hand, helping me up the steps. "Oh, my dear, he is a good one." an older lady told me. "You keep him." She patted my knee.

I turned and looked at Liam. "I think I might." Then I looked back at her, smiling. Liam pulled me close, cuddling me under his chin, with a goofy look on his face.

The next stop was a southern mansion. We saw horses, the barns, the house and the winery. Liam got himself another bottle of syrup. Blueberry syrup. They didn't have that at the last place. He tried to buy me a new hat, but I convinced him that it was ugly, so we bought wine instead. That we could at least drink.

"What are the guys going to say when you walk in with a this syrup?" I asked.

"They are going to ask to share." he said. "And I'm going to say NO!" He smiled at me as we pulled back up to the hotel. "I had a great time. Thanks for letting me come."

I leaned in for a kiss. "Thank you for coming." He kissed me. And kissed me. And kissed me. We were the last people off the bus. Paddy and his SVU were waiting. He was thrilled to see that we were fine. Luckily, Liam doesn't have many 60 year old fans. The thought made me giggle as we got into the SVU and headed back to the Venue.
