Liam picked me up right on time, smiling and complementing my dress. Max pushed me out of the way and got right into Liam's face. "Look, I don't like you. At all. This is you last chance. If you hurt her one more time, I will cut your balls off and feed them to you. Understand, asshole? What are you on now? Chance 3, 4? I have the power to send her home and I will."

Liam's eyes were wide as he nodded. He stepped back, away from Max and held out his hand for me. I took it and let him pull me away from her. He didn't say anything as we walked to the elevator, went down, walked through the lobby and went into the car. Once the car door shut, he breathed a sigh of relief. "She scares the fuck out of me." he said. I just laughed. "I'm serious. And I never meant to hurt you, ever. I swear. Here." Liam reached into his suitcoat and pulled out a box. It was long and narrow, like a necklace box. He handed it to me. "Don't get excited or anything. It wasn't expensive. I just wanted to get you something to tell you that I'm sorry."

Nobody has ever given me  nice jewelry. I don't know anything about it, how to buy, what to look for, nothing. I just buy cheep stuff that I like. Pulling the white ribbon off, I saw 'Tiffany and Co.' on the top of the box. My heart stopped and I gave it back to Liam. "No. I'm not Sophia. No."

"I only went there because I have an account and they know me. They delivered it to me. I swear, It wasn't expensive. And I know you aren't her. The only thing you have asked me for is a stuffed panda. You haven't used me to meet anyone. You haven't demanded that I take you to expensive places. I know, okay? This is just, I'm sorry. I swear."

He handed it back to me. Reluctantly, I opened the box. Inside was a fine chain, sliver maybe? I didn't know how to tell. On the chain was a circle with a diamond in it. I never owned a diamond. I didn't know if it was big or small. I only knew that it was beautiful. I smiled up at him. "It's pretty. I like it." I took it out of the box and put it around my neck. It sat perfectly at the base of my throat. Liam smiled at me and pulled me in for a kiss. "Thank you." I said.

"You are welcome. I love you and I'm sorry for everything, okay? Let's go have fun. No more drama, ever. I swear."

We had a lovely dinner at what had to be the nicest restaurant I had ever been in. There were four forks, three spoons and two knifes. When I asked Liam what they were all for, he laughed. He didn't really know. He had been told to start at the outside and work your way in. It usually worked. We fumbled our way though the meal, laughing the entire time, guessing what each fork was called. We only knew salad fork. We gave the other one names: potato fork, three tined poking fork, extra fork in case you drop one fork. By the time we were done eating, we were laughing so hard that the waiter cut off our wine, which was fine, because neither of us were old enough to drink. Nobody carded Liam when he ordered. Before dessert, Liam pulled me out onto the dance floor and took me into his arms, spinning me around while holding my tight. It felt wonderful to be in his arms. He knew just how to hold me and lead me around. It was natural and easy. "I've been thinking about that underwear all night, just so you know." he whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. I decided not to speak, but to just look up into his eyes and wink. He groaned and closed his eyes, pulling me a little tighter. "Let's go have dessert, so we can go."

I wished that the girls saw this Liam, the Liam who took me out, paid attention to me, made me feel special. It seems like that always saw the bad things and not the good. I believed him when he told me he loved me. I believed him when he said he didn't want to be Sophia.

"So, which dessert? Do you want your own or share? Girls always want to share because they are always on a diet." Liam said, looking up from the dessert menu.

"Share. Diet. Yep. Cheesecake? Please?" I asked.

Liam laughed and ordered the cheesecake for two. He even let me have the last bite. I have had four other boyfriends in my life. Each summer, I found a guy at band camp, dated him for the school year, then normally broke up with them over summer. None have them ever let me have the last bite. Ever. I had broken up with my last boyfriend before we left on tour. I wasn't really that sad about it. He was nice, but I was going to break up with him anyhow, when I left for college. Liam felt completely different. I didn't feel awkward around him. I didn't feel like I was 'playing' girlfriend. I genuinely wanted to be with him, all the time. I genuinely worried about him and missed him. I don't remember ever feeling like that about any man, ever.

After we had finished, I made him dance with me again. He leaned his head on me, turning in slow circles. He smelled so good and held me so close, I didn't ever want it to end. "Lizzy?" he said. "I know this is awful, but I need a smoke."

"If you kept calling me Lizzy, I'm calling you Bean."

Liam laughed. "Fine. So?" I nodded and let him lead me outside. Paddy followed and got the car while Liam smoked. Paddy told him he should quit, over and over. He even refused to let him smoke in the car.

Back at the hotel, we walked through the crowd, Liam stopping for pictures and to sign things, while girls yelled at me, wanting to know my name and if Liam was my boyfriend. One girl even yelled, "You are a homewrecker!" I turned and gave her a look because I was confused. Whose home was a wrecking? "We love Sophia! You are a slob!" she yelled. I must have made a noise, because Liam turned around and looked at me. "Why are you cheating on Sophia?" the same girl yelled.

"Let's go, Lizzy. I'm not going to sign for rude people." Liam said. The crowd was screaming at Liam to stay, to take pictures. He stopped and turned, looking at the girls. "I won't stay here while people yell rude things at my girlfriend." he said.

"She's not your girlfriend." someone yelled. Liam turned and pulled me into the hotel. I watched as 3 or 4 girls starting pushing the rude, yelling girl.

"Someone is going to get hurt, Liam. You need to stop them!" I yelled.

He just looked back, disgusted. "Paddy's out there. It's fine."

"They are your fans, Liam. They care about you. I've been a fan girl. I remember when Harry broke up with Taylor Swift. I was heartbroken. They really don't mean any harm." I said.

Liam looked at me and huffed. Then he went back out and told the crowd to leave the rude girl alone. Everyone seemed to relax. Then he came back in. "Happy?" he asked. I nodded, smiling. We walked to the elevators as he asked me, "Why did you care about Harry? Are you a Harry girl?"

"Uh, no. Believe it or not, that's Max". I said.

Liam looked at me. "And you?" he said, then under his breath he said "say me say me."

"Check my twitter." I grinned. He pulled out his phone and looked up my twitter, scrolling through, looking at my posts. "Louis, me, me, me, Louis, Niall, me, me, Lou."

"Stop and read the tweets. The pictures don't mean anything."

Liam looked up at me. Then he looked back at the phone. "Okay. Retweet me. Retweet the daily payne, retweet Lou."

"What did I retweet from Lou?"

He looked up, grinning. "Me! So?"

"Well, I don't think I ever called myself a Liam girl or a Louis girl, but I always thought you were pretty cute. Also, I have that picture on my phone." I said.

He looked at me, confused. "That picture?" I opened my phone, scrolling through the photo's. I found it and handed him my phone. He looked, blushing. "You saved that?"

It was a picture of Liam standing on a balcony after his underwear had been stolen. He was wearing pants that he hadn't tied and they were sitting extremely low on his hips. You could see just about everything except his manhood. "Hell, yes." I said. I reached over and pinched his butt.

"Hey!" he said. " I am NOT just a sexual object!" Laughing, I pinched him again. The elevator opened and he ran out, covering his bum. "Sexual Harassment!" he yelled. "She's touching me inappropriately!" I just grinned, following him. I loved it when he was goofy.
