A Lil Drunk

Pete yawned as he watched the TV in Spencer's living room play some shitty infomercial. Patrick was still sleeping against him. Next to them on the couch, Brendon had slunched forward, asleep, while Ryan drooled on his crotch. Spencer and Jon had vanished to their room with Max and Steven following suit not long after.

Patrick suddenly stiffened before sitting up with a tired look in his eyes. Pete turned his attention to Patrick, smiling at him.

"Hey, punk." Pete yawned, "How ya feeling?"

Patrick blinked. "Is... Did the stuff wear off?" He asked, looking at Pete.

Pete laughed, "Well, let's see." He reached out, grabbing hold of Patrick's cheeks to look him straight in the eye. He hummed quietly before speaking again. "You're still a bit glossy eyed. Why are you up?"

Patrick's eye lids drooped as Pete pulled his hands away from his face. Patrick let himself fall back against Pete's chest with a quick intake of breath. "Just dreams..." He mumbled, patting his hand along Pete's arm until he found his hand.

"Nothing too bad, right?" Pete asked as Patrick intertwined their fingers.

"No..." Patrick yawned, "Jus... Jus dreams..."

Pete rested his head on top of Patrick's. "I'm glad your dreams have been good." He whispered, squeezing Patrick's hand. "You haven't had nightmares in awhile."

Patrick hummed, not really making an audible response. Pete just smiled. He was happy to have Patrick in his life. To be able to hold the punk he first saw on the subway in his arms as he slept comfortably. It was all Pete could ask for.
