After sitting a while in silence Jordan spoke, "So I have to swing by the house first to pick up the twins, but would you like us to show the better side of this town rather the school part?"I wondered why Will and Ben would be at their house, I was assuming those are the twins he meant because Max and Jacob were back the school.
"Sure why not" I shrugged "Wait what if we get caught won't I end up back at the school?" He smiled slightly "Nah we won't get caught." I wondered how he could be so sure as we pulled into his driveway.
The twins came running out of the house each with a backpack on, they were identical except for there colors one was red and black and the other was green and blue. They opened opposite doors and climbed inside. "Where are we going today Jordan?" One of them asked "Can we go to the.." The other one began but froze when he saw me.
Jordan didn't take notice he started back out of the driveway. One of the boys coughed "Will did you take your allergy meds today?" He stopped the car waiting for the younger boys answer. "Yeah, of cour" he began before hanging his head "No." He sighed and took them out of his bag as Jordan handed him a water bottle. "I told you he'd know." Ben whispered to his twin. Will rolled his eyes.
"So guys where should we go today?" Jordan asked as he pulled out onto the main road and drove in the opposite direction of the school. The twins began arguing, but they were talking so fast I couldn't understand what about.
"While the argue about where they want send their last sick day with me until spring break."
Will and Ben went silence when Jordan said last sick day. "WHAt?" One of them yelled "YOU NEVER SAID IT WAS GONNA BE THE LAST." The other yelled over Jordans protest. "guys not last ever last, just for a while. " He spoke calming even though the twins where still yelling what? or why? and how can you do this to us. "Why is she coming with on our last day with you?" One of them whispered. I turned to stare out the window. I knew I didn't fit in with their family, I even felt like I was intruding on their family moments and I hadn't even been here a week but it still stung, I guess its human nature to hurt even when you wish you say it didn't.
"That was uncalled for Will, apologize. Now." Jordan told his younger brother in a strangely cold voice. I hadn't ever heard him speak in anything other than his cheery or teasing tone I was sure I never wanted want to make any of the Jones mad at me if I could help it from that point on.
"Sorry" Will muttered. We drove for a while in silence before we pulled over at a gas station. "Apparently my gas tank is empty, this will only take a few seconds I swear." Jordan said before leaving me in the car with his brothers who hated me almost as much as their older siblings Max and Jacob did.

After several minutes of uncomfortable silence Jordan got into the car "So before we continue lets take poll, Movies and the mall or an amusement park?" The twins jumped at the chance to choose each yelling the opposite choice. "Looks like your the tie break Selene." Jordan grinned as we drove away from the station and onto the road. I shrugged, I didn't really care what we did. "Um, whatever" I said quietly
"Come on Selene" Will said both of the twins were smiling "Just pick one I swear we won't care" Ben grinned at me when I turned to look at them. "Look" Jordan said "If you really don't want to choose" He stopped at a stop sign and the only way he could go was left of right. "Pick a direction, Left or right"
What was that saying, If you always chose to go right you'll never live life to the fullest, but if you chose to left for once you could have the adventure of a lifetime. Well this was just Left or Right, no pressure not really anyways and the only thing that could happen was went to the mall instead of the park or visa versa.
I tucked a piece of hair that had fallen in face behind my ear while I took a deep breath.
"Left. Lets go left."
