Chapter 16- Live or Die

Zoe's POV
We are all gathered around talking about what to do with the kid while Daryl is getting some answers from him.

"So what you gonna do we'd all feel better if we knew the plan" Lori asked Rick

"Is there a plan" i asked

"We gonna keep him here" Glenn asked

"We'll know soon enough" Rick told us

I look up and see Daryl comeing over to us with his cross bow he was fustrated i could tell i just wanted to take his mind off of this shit.

"Boy there's got a gang 30 men they have heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends they roll through here our boys are dead and our women they're gonna--they're gonna wish they were" Daryl told us he had blood on his hands god what did he do

"What did you do" Carol asked him

"Had a little chat" Daryl told her and came over to me she left

"No one goes near this guy" Rick told us

"Rick what are you gonna do" Lori asked going to her husband

"We have no choice he's a threat we have to eliminate the threat" he said

"You're just gonna kill him" Dale asked worried

"It's settled i'll do it today" Rick said and walked away Dale followed

I went to go find Daryl he was at the little pond washing his hands i went to our tent and got my first aid kit i grabed before I went. I went to him and i sat beside him he looked at me I smiled.

"Can I clean your hand please" I asked holding mine out he nodded

I started to clean and it was quite then he spoke.

"When that boy told me what those guys did to these girls all I could thank about is what if they come hear and do it to you and you lose the baby so I hit him over and over but I stopped myself and i had to leave Zo if anything happens to you i'll go crazy i love you Zoe" he said looking me in the eyes

"Noting is going to happen to me or this baby becouse your hear to protect us and i love you to so much Daryl" i said

He leaned in and kissed me it was a long kiss i love him so much after our kiss we went back up to the tent i put the kit away and i went to find Daryl he was massing with his arows i saw Dale making his way over to us and Daryl saw him and he scoffed.

"The whole point of me coming up here is to get away from you people" Daryl told him he's an ass sometimes

"Gonna take more than that" he asked him

"Carol send you" Daryl asked him guess she's worried to

"Carol's not the only one that's concerned about you your new role in the group" Dale told him

"Oh man I don't need my head shrunk this group's broken i'm better off fending for myself and her" Daryl said ponting to me

"You act like you don't care" Dale said

"Yeah it's 'cause I don't" he told Dale putting his jacket on

"So live or die you don't care what happens to Randall" Dale asked him

"Nope" Daryl said

"Then why not stand with me try to save the kid's life if it really doesn't matter one way or the other" Dale told him

"Didn't peg you for a desperate son of a bitch" Daryl said to him

"Your opinion makes a difference" Dale told him
