Hunter's POV
"Liam?" I asked
A pair of piercing blue eyes shot up at me through thick glasses.
My guess was correct.
"Who are you?" He asked with a clear edge to his voice. I shuddered at his reply.
"H-Hunter." I stuttered.
"How do you know me?" He asked.
"We kinda met earlier." I timidly replied.
He stepped closer and looked at me. His eyes finally widened with realization.
"Wait your the girl from earlier! The one with Avery and Dallas." He spoke.
"Yes." I replied.
"I gave you my number." He stated.
I nodded.
"Sorry bout that. I bet your boyfriend was pretty pissed at me." He stated.
What?
"I don't have a boyfriend." I told him.
He looked shocked but also kind of relieved.
"Really the blonde guy couldn't keep his eyes off you while you danced. And I thought he was gonna rip my head off when I slipped you my number." He chuckled.
"He's just not very friendly." I spoke.
He nodded in understanding.
"Well Hunter may I ask why you were in a dark bathroom with not one, but two random strangers?" He asked slyly.
"Hey I just wanted to pee, and they barged in and made me into a walking blood bag." I said with my hands in the air.
He looked shocked and speechless by my confession.
"You know? About va..." He began but abruptly stopped.
"Vampires. Yes I do." I said to him with ease.
His expression softened and he smiled widely at me.
"So you know about Dallas and his friends?" He asked.
I nodded and his smile grew.
"And I'm guessing your one too." I bravely say.
"Only the best." He replies cockily.
I laughed and realized he stepped really closely to me. I could smell his cologne. He smelled delicious.
"Why don't we get you out of here." He says to me. I could only nod.
He grabbed my hand and lead me out of the club.
"But-but my friends.." I say.
"I'll shoot Dallas a text and tell him I'm taking you back home." He said.
We stopped in front of a sweet Mustang. It was dark blue and was leather interior. Oh hot damn.
"You just gonna stare or get in?" Liam asked with amusement.
I rolled my eyes and sat shotgun. He sped off after putting the address I gave him into his GPS. We headed to the gangs house.
He leaned forward and pressed play on his CD player. Music flowed through the speakers and I was surprised. He was playing The Fray.
