Prologue

~Prologue~

There once were two families who worshipped two Gods. One to the East who worshipped the moon and one to the West who worshipped the sun. For many many generations they lived in peace and were unaware of the others presence except for the occasional folk lore from the few visiting travelers. They valued life and preserved their beliefs well with the changing times never losing their faith. Upon the new era the children became more optimistic and lively on both sides. Their passed down faith guiding them through their lives to happiness.

Until one fateful day, two lives were born but were stricken at birth with an evil that was determined to kill them. The child in the West was born on a bright summers day, but fell terribly ill to the evil lurking in the shadows of it's home. The same occured on the other side of the world on the night of the Eastern child's birth. Knowing they did not hold the power to heal them, both the Eastern and Western family's elder's took the children out into an open field where the rays of the celestial being symbolizing their gods could touch them.

Praying and pleading to their Gods they begged them to save the children. Asking them to give back the life that is being stolen from them and make them stronger. They started to give up when all of a sudden, yellow and white pillars of light shown down on the babies, engulfing them in pure divine light. After but a moment, the lights disappeared and the elders took the children back to their mothers, telling them their god had blessed them and their lives wouldn't be on the same path as before.

From that day on, nothing would be as it was before.

One boy blessed by the Sun.

One blessed by the Moon.

Two fates intertwined by chance.

Now One Destiny.
