Chapter Six

Kuro's POV~

    Turning onto my side, I faced the wall on the farthest hemisphere of my bed. The pounding that pulsed throughout my head was evidence of my endeavors the previous night. Goddess make it stop. Yeah I'd partied hard and now I'm paying for it this morning. Does it hurt like hell? Yes. Did I learn my lesson? Probably not. I groaned with the effort it took to sit up as slowly as I did and clutched my head loosely. I'd give it a few hours until I'd be exhausted from getting over it.

   Rolling my eyes, I started to turn and exit the soft mattress before I was stopped by a lifeless body. I looked over to the short haired brunette that I'd amassed my interest in last night. She was asleep, but she'd wake up eventually. Though by the look of her, she was a heavy sleeper and wouldn't be wakening anytime soon. It wasn't a bother to me. Once they got what they wanted, with a little rest afterwards, they left. Some faster than others but just the same.

    Sliding successfully past her, I thought over the last few weeks as I walked to the adjoining bathroom. My appetite had risen exceptionally lately, and I'm not talking about food. For whatever reason, after I met him, I've wanted more. What I want more of, is a mystery but I find myself being unsatisfied with my usual pickings. They're no less beautiful than the next girl, but they're just not enough. Or rather, they aren't what I want.

    Whatever the problem is, it's been messing with my schedule. I stepped into the prepped shower and let the water flow down my naked body. The long pale blond locks of my hair was lying flat against my back. I knew it's light color had darkened as it was drenched with water and I began washing it and myself as I contemplated going to school. Any educational institute bored me, but it did have it's ways of calling me back.

    Like some of it's more artistic classes that it provides. I could be entertained with those for hours. Just as the thought passed, the boy crossed my mind as I rinsed off. I dispelled any notions of him and looked at my reflection in the mirror. The soft moon pools of my eyes would always get second glances. Growing up, my classmates would often be jealous and put me down. It was to the point where I even tried brown contacts just to be accepted. No matter, I learned that they really envied me and I used that to my advantage.

    As long as you have what others want, any wish can come true. I smirked at my reflection, forgetting the pain my brain was in from my previous drinking. Quickly drying my body and hair, I walked back into my room and grabbed some usual dark fitted jeans, and a worn soft tee. Once I was fully dressed, I checked my phone for the time and grabbed my book bag. I suppose I could go to school today. Who knows, it could be interesting.

    I grabbed the keys to my car and exited the house, making sure to lock the door behind me. Opening the door to my black 2010 mustang, I slung my bag to the passenger seat. With the door shut, I took a moment to press my fingertips into my temples. Hangovers were the worst and it's only going to get harder as it gets to it's final stages. Sighing deeply, I put on my trusty pair of customized sunglasses. Black as night, just how I liked it.

      With those on, I cranked the car and headed to school. I barely noticed, but I had a small feeling that I wanted to see him, but thinking better of it, I shook it off as just wanting to tease him more. Feeling a quick flash of pain through my head, I stopped thinking so much and just fell into the flow of driving.

     I parked my car and got out, shrugging on the leather jacket I'd thrown in the back seat sometime ago and locking the car. With my bag slung over my shoulder, I walked up the stairs of Sultana High. Honestly, why anyone would name a highschool that is beyond me. The name is simply hazardous. The frosted breeze caused me a small moment of peace from my hangover, but that didn't last long.
