Nobody wants me

As they slowly walked me to the police car I couldn't help my little mind racing of all bad thoughts tears started flooding my eyes. No I'm a big girl my sister said she would come get me...right but where am I going? Was I bad? Why as I going to jail? Tears started over flowing as they opened the door and I hopped in the back of the police car. I looked through the back of the window to see my sister talking to man face and crying. I'll be back sister I whispered hoping the police in the front seat didn't hear me.

Are you hungry? The younger officer asked the driving officer out loud. I sure am; he replied I could see the driver looking at me through the review mirror smiling when the other one turned around with a big cheesy grin on his young face and said what about you sweetie? Yes I replied. Do you like burger king? He asked. Yes sir. Ok its settled before we drop you off let's get something to eat;

About an hour later we pulled into a drive way of this nice house with a wooden fence around it. At this point so any thoughts ran through my head. Is this jail? Are there other kids here? How long will I have to stay here? I hope Kelly hurry up and get me so I can go home with my family. I slowly hopped out the police car wen the younger one opened the door. I never noticed how nice he looked with his light blue eyes and nicely cut hair. Why can't I stay with y'all until my sister come get me? She said it shouldn't be long. His lips turned up into a smile. I wish we could honey but we gotta go back to work. But you will like the women that lives here she will take good care of you until your sister comes ok;? Even though my heart sank in to my stomach with the cheese burger and fries I just finished eating.

Gently gave me a smile and softly ask; Are you ready? I replied yes knowing that I really didn't have a choice.

After a few loud knocks on the door you could hear a low but sweet sounding voice of a lady yelling out I'm coming! The door flew open and there stood a woman about in her middle Thirty's long brown hair Caucasian with bright blue eyes medium built with a chester the cat grin on her face. Hiii she said excitedly come in. You must be Luci your so pretty I'm Danelle. Thank u I replied shyly with a smile. Aww and you have a beautiful smile she said as she lead us into the house. The officers and her had an exchange of words I was to busy admiring the house to listen in on the conversation.

Wondering if there were any other kids in the house once my eyes hit the toy bin sitting next to the leather couch in the living room. Interrupting their conversation I asked who are those? pointing over to the toys. Danielle smiled and replied you can play with them they're for you. She didn't have to tell me twice in a skip hop and slide I was diving into the toy bin.

Idk how long I was there because by the time I looked up the two officers were gone and danielle walked into the room with a plate of cookies and sat down on the couch next to me. Luci can I talk to you for a sec? I have something very important I wanna tell you. OK I said putting the barbie I was playing with back in the bin. Once she had my full attention she started talking... Luci I know your wondering what's going on and why are you here. Well I can't answer all the questions you have in your pretty little head of your but I can tell you this. She paused for a second... You won't be here for long. I know; I interrupted, my sister said she will be coming to get me I announced with a smile on my face. Well; she started... Before your sister can come get you we have to make sure you are safe. so you will be here for a few days.

Noooo! I screamed out. My sister said she will come and get me I don't want to stay here! Honey I'm sure she will come but right now I have to make sure you are ok. Not listening I stormed over to the love seat by the living room window and sat there waiting on my sister ..she had to come. She couldn't leave me here. She had to I was her baby. Tears rolled down my cheeks as Danielle came over to try and comfort me but I pushed her off she didn't know what she was talking about I was going home tonight!
