"Are you ready yet, Sky?" I yelled from her room. "Yeah!" She answered, getting out of her bathroom. I grabbed her backpack, and mine. I handed her, her backpack. I grabbed my phone. "Leggo girl." We went to the front door and opened it. "Bye mom!" Sky yelled. "Bye Mrs. Johnson!" I yelled as well. "Bye girls," She smiled. "By the way, Ellie, you're not going home today right?" Mrs. Johnson asked concerned."I need to go to get stuff, but I don't want to stay there," I looked down. " plus I'm scared to go alone." I looked at Sky. "Boo, who said your going alone?" Sky smiled. "Sky and Kane are definitely going with you honey. We all got your back." Mrs. Johnson flashed a warm smile. "Thanks guys." I half smiled.
School
"So what do you have now?" Sky asked. "I have Science. So that means I'm not with you." I pouted playfully. "Aw boo." Sky laughed.
"See you at Art." Sky waved and headed towards Math class. I entered Science class. Not many students were here, I guess I was early. I searched for a good empty seat. I found one at the back, heading towards it. I saw on my seat and pulled out my phone.
"Mind if I sit beside you?" I heard someone say. A raspy sexy voice. I looked up, seeing Jc. He looked so hot. He was wearing a bandana, and a bandaid on his cheek. My heart, Skipped a beat. You have a crush on him, just admit it. I guess yes I do.
"I don't mind at all." I flashed a small smile, going back to my phone. I can feel him staring at me. I feel like he wants to tell me something. "Take a picture, it lasts longer." I chuckled. "I wish, If you let me." He smiled. I giggled. "Go ahead."
He stood up, with his phone in his hands. "You for real?" I shook my head. "Okay pose." He smirked. I put my leg on the desk, for some reason, sipping on my water. He took it. He sat back on his chair, and started doing stuff in his phone. He smirked. "What?" I looked at him concerned. "Your number?" He smirked again. I shook my head, grabbing his phone. I typed in my number and saved it. Moments later, I got a text, that he sent me the picture.
"Damn I look good." I flipped my hair. "Just kiddin-" He cut me off. "Yes you do, baby girl." He smirked, nodding. I shook my head, smiling. "By the way, You're my lockscreen." I looked at him weirdly. "Are you really?" I shook my head. "What? I wanna bless my phone." He shrugged his shoulders.
Lunch
"His lockscreen?! He for sure wants you!" Sky nudged me. I chuckled. "I do want her." I jumped. I turned around, seeing Jc smiling like an idiot. I blushed from embarrassment.
I sat there, eating lunch. I got a text.

She didn't, we both did.I sighed, turning off my phone. "I'll go wash my hands, I'll be back." Sky stood up, heading to the toilet. I sighed again, placing my head on the table. "Ellie, are you okay?" I heard Jc say. I shook my head, not even lifting my head, or looking at Jc.
"Ellie, look at me." Now I lifted my head. My eyes, met Jc's. "What's wrong?" He had a soft expression on his face. "What do you mean?" I started playing dumb. "You don't seem okay. There's something wrong, I can feel it." He held my hand. "Jc, I-I'm fine, really." I looked down. I was feeling stressed, depressed, you name it. I just couldn't stop thinking about mom. I want my dad back, desperately.
"Then why were you heading to Skyler's house last night, with your eyes bloodshot. You looked like a mess." He held my hands tighter, but not so tight. "I am a mess, Jc." I sighed. He looked at me, frowning. "So guys!" Jc let go of my hands quickly, as soon as we heard Sky's voice. "Y-yeah?" I stutter. "Let's head to class. The bell will ring in few seconds anyways." I looked at Jc, then turning back to Sky. "O-okay."
