She had been tossing and turning in bed. Sleep seemed to elude her. When in fact, her body was drained of its energy. What with the stunt Koga pulled earlier. She marveled at the control her husband had shown. For if looks could kill, the oracles would have a lot of blood to scrub off the damned floor.

She could still feel Sesshomaru's gaze trail on her as she left the room in a fit earlier.

.

The servants had served the food for their early supper. Koga also brought in entertainers and palace dancers from the east. All too eager to please. Each one ogling her husband. It's not everyday that they are graced by the presence of the Western Lord. They all have dreamed of this opportunity. And the sight makes Rin's gut turn.

'You're husband seemed to love all the attention." That inner voice sneered at her. No one asked for your opinion!

The shameless lass who seemed to have more confidence than the rest of the ton sat in front of Sesshomaru and handed him a grape in a none too graceful manner. She held it in front of his alluring lips and he too willingly brought the maiden's hands in his to guide hers and brought it in to his mouth to eat. The girl let out an indiscreetly moan as Sesshomaru licked the juice from her fingers. She giggled in delight. The imp giggled!

"Wouldn't you're wife hate it if she found out you so openly ogle other women?" Rin let out even before she could stop herself. Curse her tongue! She somehow lost rule over her speech abilities.

"She's isn't here. What she doesn't know won't hurt her."

That's it! The green monster had taken over. The nerve of this man!

Rin stood up abruptly. Glaring at his incorrigible features, laying next to the heathen beauty. He only looked at her expectantly. Silently challenging her. No, she won't give him the satisfaction. She will never admit how jealous she is.

"Where are you going?" Koga asked beside her. She totally forgot he was in the dining hall too.

"I suddenly lost my appetite." And she stormed out of the room.

.

Rin let out an exhausted sigh. I know he's angry. She get it. But its no excuse for him to flirt around with women when she's just an arm's length away! That infidel!

'But you were supposed to be the estranged wife! You shouldn't be jealous! You're ruining you're own plans!' She heard that small voice in her head daunting her! 'Imagine what it must have felt like for Sesshomaru seeing you with that wolf!'

B-but! She tried to counter. She'd end up bald with the frequency she's had pulling on her hair.

Sesshomaru, you idiot! No, I'm the idiot. She's suppose to be fuming mad but she couldn't help but worry. He's still injured. If the fresh looking scorched marks on his arm were an indication. Plus, the New Moon is nigh.

She looked up only to be greeted by the luminous glow of the moon in the night sky. She suddenly remembered that night she found him in the dungeons. Images of him doubling over in pain.

Without her thinking, she started walking towards the direction of the room he was assigned to.

She was about to knock on his door when it dawned on her what she was about to do. Her momentary courage escaped her. She wouldn't be able to take his wrath. She backed up a few steps.

"How dangerous. Walking alone in a night like this." Rin felt shivers down her spine as his breath fanned her neck from behind. She turned on her heels to face him. He looked enthralling, what with the moonlight casting a light glow on his handsome features.
