Yeah what's up homies! Ahahaha. This little drabble before i start with the chapter is just to inform you guys that I'll try to update on a regular schedule. Every week at friday evenings. Its my day off. I've finished my contract in the hospital where I worked at back in the Philippines. If none of you had notice my change in location on my profile, I'm actually in KSA now, working here for almost 3months as a nurse. Go for greener pasteurs they say, i had to grab the opportunity (of sorts). Anyways, I know my career advancement doesnt really interest you and so lets get on with it!

.

P.S leave some criticisms and reviews or I'll go on strike, go to the mountains or the desert for that matter, where there is no internet connection and be a hermit or a nomad forever. (I am serious) Toodles!

Just one last thing, when I read it again and again, I think the last chapter seemed rushed. I dont know, maybe its just me. But I just felt it somehow "lacked". It's been 10months since the last regular updates i have had. So im kinda worried that I've somehow got off track on my stories. Anyhow, feel free to tell me what you guys think. And thanks a bunch!

"Master!"

"Rin!"

Kohaku and Jaken despite their obvious injuries, raced to where Sesshomaru sat, the lifeless Rin in his arms.

"How is she?" Frantic, Kohaku added. She lost a lot of blood.

Unmindful of his long-standing reputation, Sesshomaru held her lovingly in his arms.

"My Lord, Lady rin's wounds..." Jaken pointed out.

The wariness in thw aide's voice alarmed Kohaku. "What do you mean?" When not even the stoic western lord answered, Kohaku lost his last strand of calm. "What is he saying, you bastard? You said you would protect her at all cost, yet you... you.."

"Calm down!" Jaken berated the young southron warrior.

Kohaku threw him a murderous glare. One the aide ignored.

"My lord, didnt you use tensaiga?"

Sesshomaru only nodded in response.

"Then, why isnt she awake yet?"

"Can someone please tell me what are you rumbling on about? We need to get her to the healers." Kohaku tried to take her away but Jaken stopped his arm.

"Nothing can be done now." Koga interrupted. Limping his way to them. His left thigh bleeding.

"What?!" Unthinkingly Kohaku swung his scythe to the intruder, throwing him off balance. "Kohaku, you bastard."

"The sword. Tensaiga is of the demon realm. Its not exactly blunt per se, but lord sesshomaru rarely use it in battle for it does not cut, but it heals." Jaken explained.

"It is exactly the reason why it is the best sword to use against demons because it is of the same origin. But it only works against demons. Otherwise, it can bring back life because it cuts through soul reapers."

"So when lord sesshomaru stabbed Rin with the sword, it should have just passed through her like nothing. Her wound should have healed."

"Should have? Have you lost your mind? No matter what you say, he still stabbed her. And that is still literally a sword!"

He was silent the whole while so no one expected Sesshomaru's question.

"Tell me Kohaku, why was the jewel inside Rin's body?"

Sesshomaru remembered she used to wear it around her neck when they met for the very first time as kids. She was rather fond of it too, if memory serves him right. It was odd that in all the time they were together he never once saw her wear the necklace. He didnt ask her because he never really had the tiniest bit of interest on the shikon no tama.
