"Out!" Sesshomaru managed to growl before he lost rein over his rage. The anger building up in him. His yokai blood boiling so, that he doesn't need the moon to transform into his demon.

Servants, stable boys, scouts, and guards alike scampered about fleeing the training grounds. No one would want to suffer their lord's wrath. He's not a man to cross swords with even when he was calm and collected. All the more when he is riled.

Before they could even clear the area, the youki he'd been suppressing produced a gust of strong wind causing tables, racks and wooden stools to flip over. Weapons shut across the shooting range. An axe merely missing Jaken's head.

Jaken braced himself for the worst as his lord marched towards his direction in his demon clad form. Sesshomaru raised his arm and swung his emerald vine-like whip violently causing Jaken to shut his eyes close in pure fear.

But the pain didn't come.

When broken boulders of granite of the entrance arch crumbled behind him with a loud bang he knew it wasn't his time yet. His lord would spare his life only for him to suffer his wrath later.

Jaken was about to say his grace but was cut off when Sesshomaru vehemently swore in a murderous tone, "I'll have that bastard's head in a stake!"

.

Not another minute was wasted by his lord. Now Jaken found himself scurrying behind the western lord in his own stallion. They rode off in urgency and he found it hard to keep up with his master. But so much so he couldn't utter a word of complain or it would be his head on a pike instead.

Jaken was so lost in his reverie that he didn't notice the group of wolf bandits afront.

"You made a big mistake coming here alone." The man in the middle snickered."Now it would be too late."

Jaken felt insulted. What was he? Modesty aside, he too could pull of a fight.

"By now that jackass of a ruler would have had his way with that girl. You'd be so unhappy-"

"I already am." The man didn't even get to finish his declaration for in that split second Sesshomaru already had his sharp claws through the man's chest, severing his heart.

Blood spluttered as he pulled his arm out. The man falling dead on his feet, his eyes rolling to the back of his head thereafter.

The others watch in horror as if in slow motion as the rumored ruthless lord of the west and quarter dog demon plundered their comrades one after the other.

It all happened too fast that neither one of them saw their own demise coming.

Sesshomaru licked his now scarlet drenched claws and turned his head to the last man shivering near a tree. "Please, spare me! I was only forced to do this-" the man whimpered.

Jaken tore his gaze from the menacing look his lord is wearing and took it to himself to interrogate the poor lad. "Where is Lady Rin?" He demanded.

"T-the missus...the girl was brought to the temple at the holy ruins."

"By whose orders?" Jaken demanded.

"The master of the land...the lad hesitated...lord k-koga." He blurted out.

Jaken was prepared to throw another question but was mortified at what happened next. The man's head rolling off the ground. Clearly departed.

He understood that the man would probably be killed off by whoever sent him and the gang because he told off the one who hired them. The royal attendant isnt so sure if he is liking this new side to his really did think it wasn't necessarily needed to finish him off anymore.

As if sensing his discomfort, Sesshomaru spoke in a cold tone.

"He was already dead the moment he stole my wife."

.

Yeah, i thought so too. When the dog howls, he'd definitely bite. ^-^
