Final chapter everyone! It has come to an end. I'll be sad for sure. Waaaahhh. I will miss you guys!

I hope the chapter meets your expectations of a good ending. I mean, it's easy to start writing, continuing to write and update is a challenge, and ending it is the hardest part.

Please leave reviews. I'd really like to interact with everyone for one last time. :)

WAaaaaah.. I really will miss this!

Ok, its not actually the end. I'd be writing fun drabbles about Rin's pregnancy, after this chapter. I cant wait to write about Sesshomaru's struggle with a very hormonal wife. Ahahahha.

'It is said some lives are linked across time. Connected by an ancient calling that echoes through the ages. They call it, destiny.'

.

She never really felt anything at first. It was all so vacant, as though she was floating in nothingness. She was afraid if she tensed or opened her eyes she would fall. So she stayed quiet.

It hit her then. A wave of pure agony, crashing through her body and changing evrything. It felt as though a hand grasp her heart, crushing it slowly.

She screamed and arched up, trying to get away from it all. She started thrashing and she felt familiar hands take hold of her. The pain stopped and she curled up, sobbing.

Someone moved her head and she whimpered in fear as the bed moved. Sesshomaru kissed her forehead and let her lay her head on his lap. Everything paused for a moment and then his hand wrapped tightly around her waist. He murmured something and she screamed again as the pain returned. It grew in intensity and washed over her, drowning her in its burning agony.

She heard Kohaku shouting above her head, his voice seemimgly miles away. "Is there nothing we can do to numb the pain? Help her!"

"You will do nothing! She has to undergo the whole ritual process." Koga motioned for the healers to continue. The party decided to recuperate at Rin's village. It was nearer from the ancient ruins. And now, it's exactly just that, ruins. They would return to the palace after several days. Once fully recovered, traveling through air would be less difficult for Sesshomaru. He could just carry her and fly back.

She swallowed thickly, trying to find the words to beg them to stop arguing. She opened her eyes to see bright amber ones looking down at her in fear and remorse.

Blackness covered her vision and she shut her eyes, breathing deeply as she heard the giggle of a child. She decided to let herself fall into the dream, welcoming it to ease the pain.

"Why is there a need?" Kohaku asked. "Don't tell me..."

"She's with child." The village midwife informed the attendees. Carrying a yokai would prove to be difficult since she is human. The child would feed off of her. She'd grow weak and weary as the child continues to grow in her womb. The sealing is to prevent that from happening.

It was the last thing she heard before she was pulled back to oblivion. She passed out several more times after that.

.

She drifted through darkness, following the sound of a familiar voice. The blackness faded into blurred color and slowly came into focus. She found herself walking down a path, following the sound of childish giggles.

She finally realized she was at a forest. The path opened up into a spacious clearing. She found Sesshomaru kneeling on the ground, bent over a laughing Rin. She crawled away from him, holding her hands over her stomach.
