The Rain of Truth

Harry's POV

" go to pansy and ask her out now before I ask you out. " Draco whispered touching my face. I nodded as I ran out of the lockers to go find pansy. " Where would she be? " I thought running to places she would be at. I then saw her sitting at a bench near the black lake, soaking wet by the rain. I pulled my umbrella over her as she then realized I was there. " oh!! Potter! I mean Harry! I didn't know you were there! " pansy said looking at me with shock. " I don't blame you. So... Why are you in the rain? " I asked sitting next to pansy. " I was... I need time to cool off, you know!? " pansy said laughing nervously. " Oh? " I said handing her my gryffindor scarf since she started coughing. " don't mind the gryffindor colors. " I said wrapping it around her neck. " Harry, we're over the whole gryffindor, Slytherin, blood thing... " pansy said smiling at me. " Pansy, can I ask you something? " I said warmly smiling at her. " yeah! " pansy said looking deep in my eyes. " Do you want to go out sometimes? " I ask nervously as her face drop. "......" Pansy stayed quiet as she was thinking. " yeah sure. But why me of all people? " pansy said smiling at me with sarcasm. " I don't know, but I know I want you as my..... " I stopped realizing my mistake. " your what? " pansy said smirking at me. " I'll tell you later! " I said wrapping my arms around Pansy's shoulders for warmth. " I like you a lot. " I said out of no where. " I like you too potter! " pansy said smiling at me.

Pansy's POV

" Oh My Dumbledore!! " I thought screaming in my head. " THE Harry Potter asked me out!!!!!! " I thought hugging him slightly tighter. " My life is complete! " I thought wishing this moment didn't end but it did as rain fell hard now. " we should probably head back inside, it's almost curfew. " Harry said helping me stand up. " yeah, so what dorm are you in? " I ask walking aside Harry. " uh.... I think group 17?! " Harry said as I started squealing and jumping up and down. " what, Pansy? " Harry asked arching his eyebrows. " I'm in group 17!! Draco, Hermione, Blaise, and Ginny are group 15 so we are literally neighbors! " I said clapping my hands together. " oh that great!! " Harry said heading to the great hall with me.
