Chapter Twelve

Nightfall

Khalil's point of view

I was so anxious, excited. Kai finally found the land we've been dreaming about for so long. I packed my bag and left on out I took a bus to the city and caught a cab to the air strip. Don't wanna leave any traces of me leaving town.

I arrived at the air strip, got out paid the fare and abroad the jet. I sat down staring into space just thinking.

I slouch down in the couch, lean my head back and closed my eyes. Taking deep breaths to calm myself. Allowing my body to relax. Moments later I was in a bit of a deep sleep.

*Dream Mode*

I was laying in the grass. It was the most greenest grass I ever seen. Flowers all around. Yea I know flowers, like really Khalil? Haha what I'm not like all the dudes out here. I'm more of an affectionate person even though I act hard as ever to everyone I'm really a chill calm person.

A moment later I sat up and turned my head and smile as I saw mom.

"Hey my prince."

"Hey ma."

We stare into the horizon

"Kai found it...she found the land ma, on my way there now."

I sigh as I drop my head a bit

"Just wish you was here, Kai found the land we've been dreaming about, I know it's truly beautiful...just wish you can be there, mom."

"I will be there."

"Yea I know, in spirit."

I got up off the grass and began walking, mom got up and stopped me by grabbing my arm. She stood in front of me. Stare into my eyes

"I will be there, my prince...me and Niya will be waiting for you, have a feast of both you guys favorite foods ready for your arrival."

I noticed she called kai by her nickname but didn't think of it.

"I will be there, I promise."

She kissed my cheek as I closed my eyes.

*dream mode ends*

I slowly opened my eyes, the attendant walked in

"We'll be landing soon."

I nod and I groan a bit as I sat up stretched and yawn. Kept thinking about what mom said in my dream. I shook my head.

"Just a dream." I said softly to myself.

I freshen up and got ready. The jet finally landed got off met with an pilot he took me to the entrance of the land.

"Just head west through the woods and you're there." He said as he landed.

I thanked him and got off, began walking into the woods. Nearly two hours later I came to a pathway, didn't see anything I kept walking than my eyes widen as I saw the entire kingdom.

I looked around and saw there's a shield, explains why I didn't see the land when I flew over it. I turned and continue walking making my way to the castle. I can feel my other half waiting for me.

As I walked saw villagers they smile at me as they went on about their business, kids laughing and playing they waved at me. I waved back. Then I stared having visions of me and Kai playing around here. Then I stopped as I came to an old structure jerked as I had another vision. Saw Kai and I playing with two wolves.

I snapped out of it shook my head a bit and continued walking up the hill to the castle. Got there after a long while was a bit tired from the walk. I came inside I was in awe it looks so beautiful. I shiver a bit gotten this feeling like I've been here before.

"Twin."

I turn and smile as I saw Kai. We rushed to each other and hugged.

"You're finally here."

We looked at each other I looked around and chuckle softly

"Wish mom was here, she'll love this castle."

"I am here."

I jerk and turned my eyes widen as I saw where the voice came from. The woman walked up to us.

"Its okay, Kah its really mom."

"My prince." She raise her hand to me

I moved back shaking my head

"No, this has to be a dream...you died years ago."

"This is not a dream, Kah she's alive been looking for us."

The woman began telling me what only me and mom talked about in my dreams.

I stare at her breathing heavy my vision got blurry was feeling real lighted headed.

"Khalkha?"

My eyes just rolled back as I fell to the floor.

Next day

I woke up, in a big room. I groan a bit as I rubbed my head. I looked up saw Kai staring at me and my cousin Dodz leaning against the dresser.

"Here drink this."

Kai hand me a cup. I took it and began drinking my eyes shot opened as I drank the whole cup.

"Ah, this is good...taste so familiar."

"It was your favorite drink you had when you was young." Dodz said

"So...that was really..."

They nod

"Its really her, Kah everything we dreamt of is real, even Razil and Azail."

I looked at her she nod and turned her head than a few seconds later a white wolf came in and jumped on the bed. I rubbed him

"Razil." I smile

"Wait...where's Azail?"

"She's in your garden, waiting for you to come to her...fresh up I'll take you to her."

I got up and went to shower had changed into some skinny jeans and a long black long sleeve shirt and boots. I followed my sister to an pathway.

"She's in there...we'll see you two later."

I walked outside in the fire garden I began remembering moments of being in here. Then I got tackled down. I looked and gasp

"Azail!" I smiled

"Khalkha!"

We played fight all over the ground was laughing. Than we stopped, I sat up and stare at Azail.

"I missed you so much, girl."

"I missed you to, been waiting for you to come home to me."

We hugged each other, I got up dust myself off we walked around the garden for a long while than went back inside.

Had followed Azail to a dining room walked in had saw the crew and Kai sitting down at a big table. I looked at the woman. She really does look like mom.

She walked up to me stare right into my eyes. She grab a hold of the back of my head as she lean to my ear.

"You're the man in the mask, the true king of the land." She whisper

I gasp softly "mama."

I looked at her with water in my eyes she held me tight as I did the same to her, its really her my mom is alive. We looked at each other she rub my cheek as she smile

"Come, time to eat."

I walked with her to the table we sat down said grace and began eating.

For the first time in years, I was actually smiling.
