Chapter Three

Over the few months King Ezra has been changing getting more greedy with power. Without Queen Azania's knowledge he's been practicing dark magic, perfecting one spell to be exact. He's been draining his children's powers. Little by little each day.

Has also been leaving the kingdom to fight proving himself he's more powerful. It was beginning to spread all over the talk of King Ezra the powerful. Each day the twins were getting more stronger their powers also.

Queen Azania been talking with her husband, wanting them to be train how to control and use their powers now they are of age. King Ezra argued saying they shouldn't have all that power, we should take some of it harness it elsewhere, they can't be trained with it. She saw how crazed his eyes looked saw how he stare at their children she saw the greed on his face.

"No you will not take their powers, they can and will be trained how to control them, I will teach them myself if I have to." Queen said

He look at her with anger in his eyes, she saw the man she loved fading away turning into a monster.

"I'm the king, you dare to speak against me?" He states, taking a step towards her.

"A title don't mean shit to me...you knew that or less you forgot, I'm their mother what I say goes you will not use our children for your personal greed...we're for the prophecy not against it." She said, taking a step sizing him up.

The two stare into each other's eyes, sizing each other up. Neither one of them were afraid of one another.

Then a servant came up to them bow his head

"Your highness, its noon."

King stare at his Queen and scoff at her as he walked away, she watched him walk away. She was not liking the man he is becoming. She turned and walk to her den. She saw her most trusted guard an warrior name Sevin. He was staring out the window.

"He's changing, Sevin."

"I know, its not good, Azania...I fear for the children."

She stopped and closed her eyes was silent for a moment

"Where are they now, they're not in the castle?" She ask as she opened her eyes.

"Wells tower." Sevin answered as he nod his head.

She walk to the window saw her children playing can hear their laughter. They watched them.

Then they gasp as they heard a explosion saw parts of the tower collapsing. They ran out the den rushing to the tower along with a few of the warriors along with King Ezra.

They made it to the tower saw nothing but smoke and fire. Some of the villagers were standing around to see what happened. The warriors ran in to find the twins.

Moments later, they were found. Razil was howling a bit as Kaitina was being carried out by Sevin. She was knocked out, Khalkha walked beside him holding another warrior's hand Azail following behind them.

Their parents rushed to them.

"She's breathing." Sevin said

"I didn't mean to do it, I didn't mean to hurt her...mommy daddy I didn't mean it I just wanted to scare her, I'm sorry." Khalkha cried.

Their parents stare at him tears in their eyes.

"You could've killed her, Khalkha!" King snapped at his son.

Khalkha jumped and hid behind Sevin, trembling and shaking holding his head down tears coming down his face.

King Ezra continue snapping at his son.

"Stop it, Ezra...it was an accident!" Queen Azania yelled. She grab his wrist stare into his eyes.

He somehow came back to his normal self realized what just happened. He exhale deeply and looked at his son.

"Khalkha..."

Khalkha than took off running away from them. Azail went after him trying to get him to stop.

"Khalkha!" His mother yelled after him. She closed her eyes taking deep breaths.

They took Kaitina back to the castle to get checked out.

The doctor worked on her, than came out of her room stare at her parents.

"Will she be okay?" Queen asked

"The medicine is not healing her, my healing powers are not letting me heal her for some reason." The doctor said

"What...how is that possible?" King ask

The doctor and King Ezra were confused than Razil walked up to the queen, stare right into her eyes. Queen stare back their minds linked.

"Mommy."

She gasp as she heard her daughter's voice. They looked at her

"What...what is it, Azania?"

"Niya...I can hear her thoughts...Razil is channeling her thoughts through him to me." She answered.

She stare at Razil.

"Baby I'm here, I'm here." She thought

"Take me to my garden...I need the water, follow Ra."

The connection ended, she looked at her husband and the doctor.

"Water...she needs the water to heal, said to take her to her garden and follow Razil." She said.

King Ezra walked in the room and gently lift his daughter and carried her to the garden. He followed Razil to the waterfall got to the big beautiful pond. He kneel down. He than heard Razil

"Place her arm in the water."

He did what he was told, place his daughter's arm in the water. Then a few seconds later the water began to glow saw it traveling up Kaitina's arm to her entire body.

King and Queen gasp as her body glow a bright blue light than it went away the water went back into the pond. They stare at her. Then they gasp as Kaitina coughed and woke up. She stare at them

"Mommy, daddy."

"Hey little warrior." King smile softly

"You scared us, Niya." Queen said as she sniff softly.

"I'm sorry...we was playing I was taunting Kah...I didn't mean to make him mad it wasn't his fault."

"Its okay, baby it was an accident."

They took her back to her room so she can rest.
