Chapter Eight

A month later

Kai's point of view

I been working on going on a mission, I finally gotten Ezra's permission, ha I'm damn near twenty-one and I'm still asking him for permission to do whatever I want go where I want. I feel nothing for my father, like I don't feel any love for him, if I did had love for him its very distant.

I came in my room from being out had closed and locked my door. Walked into my closet and closed the door, all you can see around the doorway is lead aluminum all over the walls. Three years ago I found a way to keep Ezra from tapping into my mind. Asshole would tapped into me and my brother Kah's minds when he want to see what we're up to or when he wants us to come to him he can be very demanding at times.

I still remember when he tapped into my mind when I was out on a date he found where I was at, kept demanding me to leave and come to his office. I ignored him than he showed up and dragged me away. Ended up in the box for a week for disobeying him.

I pulled out my folder took the pictures out that I gotten from an very trusted man name Wic. For the past few years I've been having these amazing dreams of a beautiful land, a kingdom. As soon as I wake up I would sketch them. I know the place is real I can feel it.

I confirm the sketches to the pictures. Saw the kingdom is down in South America. I had drew out my plan I was leaving in two days. Taking the crew with me.

Then I put the pictures up and hid it in my backpack and left out of my closet had went to go take a shower. Stayed in it for a long while than I got out, oil my body down put my briefs and sports bra on along with my basketball shorts.

I stood in the mirror staring at myself. Stare at my muscular six pack body, had stare at my tattoos. I have four tattoos, half a sleeve on my right bicep, one on my left forearm, a yin-yang symbol on my left bicep and a big wolf that I drew from a dream on my left side. Its so beautiful all white. For some reason Ezra hates them. Which is why me and Kah gotten our wolf tattoo tatted on our stomachs where Ezra can't see them. Then I clench my jaws as I stare at my scar that I have on the side of my left eye.

I shook my head as I remembered how I got it in the first place. Ezra gave it to me when I disobeyed him before he threw me in the box. Made me suffer the pain of it. Said the next time I disobey him he'll give me another on my right eye to match. I sigh softly and walked out of my room had put my shirt on and laid in my bed. I put my wireless headphones on turn my music on and slowly closed my eyes. My body began to relax as I fell asleep.

*dream mode*

Laid up in the tree staring into the horizon. Listening to the water clash against the shore in. Just staring than a beautiful woman wearing a lovely gown, her full long brown curly hair softly blowing in the wind. She walk on over to the tree and lean against it folded her arms stare into the horizon.

"Nice view."

"Yea."

She looked at me

"You gonna come down and give your mama a hug, or you gonna make me come up there?"

I grin a bit and jumped down I stare at mom and hugged her she hugged me back. We went walking along side the water.

"Haven't seen you in three days."

"Couldn't sleep."

She stopped me and looked at me staring into my eyes.

"Talk to me."

"I found the land, I talked Ezra into allowing me to go on a mission, I'm going to the land I dreamt about, I'm leaving in two days."

I sigh deeply as I took a few steps looked at her and just stare

"Just wish you're alive mom, wish you're with me and Kah I have a good feeling and I want you to be there with me."

"I will be there."

"Yea, in my heart I know, mom." I look at the water.

Mom walked up to me place her hand on my cheek and turned my face I looked at her.

"I will be there, Niya...I will be there I promise you."

She kiss my forehead and pulled me towards her, her forehead against mine.

Then we looked up saw I getting ready to wake up. Mom looked at me.

"I'll see you soon, Niya." She kiss my cheek.

Everything went black.

*dream mode ends*

*alarm beeping*

I opened my eyes sigh softly as laid there for awhile. I hit the button turning the alarm off. Groan a bit as I sat up rubbed my hair back and got up. Freshen up got dressed and came downstairs to the kitchen.

Saw my twin sitting down eating I came and sat down said grace and began eating.

Kah looked at me, I looked at him than we continue eating.

We don't talk but we're still close as ever though.

We moved our eyes to the side as we heard Ezra's footsteps. He walked in with his phone in his hands typing away. We chewed our food as we stare at him waiting for him to talk. Then he looked at us.

"Listen up, I'm heading outta town for awhile."

"May I ask where you going, sir?" Kah asked

"Heading to Vegas, got some business to take care of."

He looked at me

"Do your mission watch your self."

I nod, he looked at Kah

"Don't burn my house down."

Kah nod his head, than Ezra left on out the house. We went back to eating.

"He's gonna catch something one of these days." Kah said

"Ain't lying on that...haha remember he got the itch?"

"Haha only time we ever saw him act like a baby."

We laughed softly to ourselves.
