"I can't believe how fast you were going." I'd told him shaking my head.

"Was that your first time on a motorcycle?"

I shook my head again.

"I went once when I was really little. 4 years old, maybe."

"With who?"

"My uncle. He's like the complete opposite of my dad. I haven't seen him in years though."

"Does he live far?"

"Yeah, but that's not the reason. He puts a dent in our family image."

"Oh god. Are your parents really that strict?"

"Yup."

"What happened to always loving family?"

I shrugged.

"You seriously need some fun in your life."

"I have fun!" I had argued.

"Oh really? How?"

"I like going to the beach. I like going shopping. I like hanging out with my friends. I—"

"That's what you call fun? What are you gunna tell me next? That you like reading?" He cut me off.

"I do." I smiled.

"You need help."

"Do I now?"

"Yeah. Immediately. And luckily for you, I'll provide you with that help. But I need to ask you something first."

"What is it?"

"Do you trust me?"

After thinking about it for a second, I knew my answer.

"Yes."

"Brave of you to say." He'd told me.

"So what's your version of fun?"

"You don't wanna know."

"Tell me."

"You sure?"

I nodded.

"Sex."

I crinkled my nose and looked away.

"That's shallow." I said.

"I'd been locked up for 7 months. Sue me."

"Something else that doesn't involve sexual activity."

"Is skinny dipping sexual?" He had asked me, and I'd laughed.

"Ew."

"Why be such a prude? Haven't you and Liam—"

"That is none of your business."

"Okay, okay." He put his hands up in surrender.

"Really now, let's do something fun."

"I have an idea. Let's go."

"Where to?"

"Trust me." He said it again.

We ended up at a crafts store.

"What are we doing here?"

"Just wait and see."

We'd gone inside and Tyson had made his way to the paint section.

Picking up 2 cans of spray paint, he nodded to me and went to pay for it.

While paying, the clerk had given him suspicious looks.

"It's for a DIY project. Promise." Tyson said sarcastically.

"What are we doing?"

"Cool it with the questions, will you?"

"How am I supposed to trust you if you won't tell me anything?"

"Just trust me."

Sighing, I took my seat behind him on his deathtrap of a vehicle, and we drove off.

We passed places I've never gone to. I made a note to check out the boutiques.

We came to a stop beside a building.

"Come on." Tyson grabbed my hand and lead me around the street.

"Take this." He handed me a blue can of spray paint.

"What do I do with it?"

"You paint!" He had already started spraying as the words fell from him lips.

"What? No! That's graffiti. It's illegal."

He stopped spraying and looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Told you, you couldn't have fun."

"Doing illegal things isn't fun!"

"Not with a mind like that!"

He held my hand with the can of paint, up, and positioned my finger so I was ready to spray.

"Now press and paint." He instructed.

And I did.

I had no idea what I was doing until I was done a few seconds later.

It was a C.

"Not bad. You've made your mark." He'd told me.

"Now you."

He did, and when he was finished there was a T beside my C.

I added a smaller '&' in between.

"Nice work. This is a good start."

"Let's go now, before someone sees us." I said, and he gave in.

We rode back to my place, and I made sure to do something before saying goodbye.

"We'll talk." I told him after putting my number into his phone.

He looked it over and smiled at me.

"We will."
