I was with Liam the next day. He apologised as soon as I opened the door.
"For?" I had asked.
"For trying to tell you what to do. I'm not telling you to interact with him, I stand by what I said, but I admit my way of showing it wasn't the best."
"I accept your apology." I told him simply.
He let out a breath, like he was keeping it in.
"Good."
"He's moving out." I told Liam, in reference to Tyson.
"How do you know?"
"He told me."
He inhaled and exhaled, clearly trying not to lose it.
"Hm."
I looked away and lead him up to my room.
"So what's new?" He asked me, once we were up there.
"Nothing." I shrugged.
"Did you finish your report?"
I nodded.
"That's good."
I don't know what exactly was going through my head, maybe it was because I knew I felt something for Tyson and wanted to show myself I felt stronger for Liam.
So I kissed him and let the butterflies fly.
Except there weren't many butterflies.
My stomach dropped at the realisation but I kept going.
My heart was beating fast, I wasn't thinking straight.
Liam's hands went around my waist and I got on top of him.
My hands went to the button of his jeans and he pulled away.
"What are you doing?" He asked me.
"It's okay, my parents aren't home." I told him, waiting for him to kiss me again.
"You want to... Right now?" He looked at me weird.
"Um.. yeah?"
"I didn't think we were gunna today."
I distanced myself from him, sitting on my bed with my legs crossed.
"Sex isn't something you plan. Sorry if it didn't fit into your schedule." I told him with a hint of obvious frustration in my voice.
He looked shocked.
"I didn't mean to— I.. Sorry." He shook his head.
"Do you even like me?"
"What? Of course I like you! I love you."
"You sure about that? Or is this because of your parents?"
"You're not thinking straight. Are you okay?" He asked me, and it only angered me more.
"No! I'm not okay! My boyfriend just rejected me. What guy rejects sex? You haven't reached out to me in days! Don't tell me it was your parents who told you to come over here."
"I didn't mean to reject you! I just wanted to make sure you were sure. What is going on with you?"
"Leave."
"What?"
"I said, leave."
"No."
"No?"
"No. I'm not leaving until I get answer."
"Nothing's up with me. I'm just tired. Tired of my parents, tired of us, tired of everything. Just please, make this easy, and leave."
"Make what easy?" He asked me hesitantly.
"We're over."
"You're breaking up with me?"
I nodded.
"You can't do that!"
This was where I laughed.
"And why can't I? Because of what our parents will say? You know what I have to say to that? Screw it." I told him coldly.
"Tyson."
"What?"
"This was Tyson, wasn't it? He convinced you to do this." He shocked me by saying.
"No Liam. This is me trying to live my life. Tyson has nothing to do with it!"
"He's had to! This isn't you."
"Yes it is! Now seriously, get the hell out of my house!"
He looked scared, then shocked, then defeated, then sad.
I calmed down when I saw him like that. Out of habit I wanted to comfort him, but I didn't.
I patiently waited as he got out of my room, and went down the stairs to the front.
"Goodbye Liam." I said, before I shut the door.
I just broke up with Liam Wright.
And my parents are not gunna be happy about it. But like I said before, screw it.
I can do whatever the hell I want, because this is my life.
