I heard a knock at the door and I suddenly ran downstairs.
My mom stood there holding my baby brother while talking to Shawn.
"Hey..." I said awkwardly.
"Oh, sorry honey! Have fun." She smiled.
Shawn and I walked outside to his car.
He was wearing jeans, his red flannel, and a black shirt. He looked handsome.
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"Someplace special. And a surprise." Shawn answered.
I blushed. He said someplace special and it got to me. I need to stop getting so red!!
We pulled into a small little diner.
"I remember this place!" I jumped out to the car.
"Can you tell me what you remember?" Shawn asked me lifting an eyebrow.
"This is the place where I first met you." I smiled.
"Yep, you were sitting at this table." Shawn pointed out.
"And I had the Mac N' cheese." I giggled.
"Then I said, do you have extra crayons and you said no- but we can share." Shawn smirked.
The waitress came over and took us to our table.
"I'm starving." I said looking through the menu.
"What could I start you guys off with to drink?" She asked.
"Orange Juice please." I asked politely.
"I'll have the same please." Shawn said eyes still on the menu.
He never looked at other girls when he was around me. I don't know why....we just started dating. Like literally 10 minutes ago.
"I'm getting biscuits and gravy." I announced.
"I'm getting French toast with hash browns." He licked his lips.
I froze and stared at him. For the first time in forever- Shawn looked HOT!
