Moving forward

Daniel POV

I am at a diner with Daphne
She showed herself again to thank me for sending help to her kingdom

I am eating with her right now
By the way she eats, she has not been eating well these past few days...

Her home had really reached the poverty line... but I assume they are going strong despites the fact that it's really poor

Daphne stopped eating, with a small amount of food on her cheek
She then looked at me

"I am so sorry, I ate like a pig..." she said, wiping away the remaining food on her cheek

I laughed because I find it cute

Daphne blushed and she avoid my eyes from hers

"By the way, a kingdom invited susan royalties to attend their gathering event. It must be fun if you could come as well" I said

She shook her head no

"I am a commoner... how could I attend such big event?" She asked

"What are you talking about? You are my friend, why not come?" I asked

"It is because I pity myself so much... What if royals finds out that I am not a royal blood and just a normal villager? It will be comedy show..." she said... I could tell that she's having a hard time dealing with these kind of stuff

"You are with me, anyway. Who could find it out? I invited you as a friend and not a royal. And the letter said that, I should bring friends" I said

She just shrugged and looked at me...

"Oh come on, please?" I begged

Her lips formed a small smile and nodded

"Yes!" I shouted

Everybody in the diner looked at me

"Quiet down! You are so embarrassing..." she said and I laughed

We finished the remaining dishes and after that, we left the diner and walk home

She is not from susan so I ordered my servants to ride her home, to Gaethron

She entered the carriage and she waved her good bye to me

The event is tomorrow, I have to find a perfect outfit for Daphne

I am not so sure but... what kingdom is the event?

I took the letter and read it again

I dropped it when I read it...

It's... from the suggy kingdom... Y/N's there...

I'll be able to see her again...

But this time, I am someone different...

I have to move forward...
