Angel's POV

In the morning my eyes always trailed to Anne, she seems lost and baffled. I tried to asked her some questions but she won't answer me at all!!!

"Anne! For pete's sake I'm talking to you!" I said, raising my voice to get her attention. Her eyes is quivering, I know she's hiding something from me and I already had hint what is it, I just need confirmation.

"Hmmm...." was all her answer to me. My eyebrows furrowed together, clenched my hands as my patience growing thinner.

"Do you have a relationship with Lance?" My voice went cold, I just need an answer coming from her mouth.

"No." Her eyes won't meet my piercing stare. LIAR.

"Just tell me the truth Anne or our friendship will be over." She widened her eyes at me but I was stern and firm on my statement.

"Fine, I don't need a friend who is a liar . " I acted like I don't care anymore. She grabbed my hand while I raised my eyebrows at her, waiting for an answer.

"No...I promised you that we don't have a relationship. It's just......it's been so difficult lately Angel. I can't understand him and won't get out of my head!" An amused smile crept onto my face, this is the first time that Anne is so frustrated over something. She glared at me when she saw my smile.

"Why are you smiling like that?!"

"You like him, just admit it to yourself. " a small blush painted on her high cheeks.

"No, you're wrong." She whispered to herself. I shrugged and patted her head as I walk away.

As I entered in the library, I immediately scanned my eyes to the fiction sector.
I jumped away when a low voice whispered to my ears.

"Shit! Mac?!" I clutched my chest tightly as I breathe heavily.

"Sorry."

"You should be! You scared the hell out of me!" I snarled at him. He put his hands up and feigned innocence.

"I didn't know that you are sensitive." Heat rush to my face like a volcano abut to erupt.

"So, what are you doing here." He eyed me for a moment and I shifted my legs from left to right. I was too conscious of his fiery gaze at me and I was too scared to meet his.

He tilted my chin to him, I touched his warm hands and softly ran my fingers into it. A raw feeling bubbled inside me, is it alright to feel this way? To feel a great attraction to him, a lustful desire to kiss him, to let him take me.

Our face only inches closer, his breath hitch when I touch my bottom lips to his. It was electrifying, he was about to kiss me back when a loud whistle startle us and make our body to break away from each other. He stepped closer to me and trapped me into his arms then he grazed his teeth onto my earlobes making me gasped.

"You can't deny me, Angel. I know you can feel it too, this desire between me and you." And then he was gone, leaving me breathless and hot.

"Angel?" Phoebe tapped my back and I widened my eyes at her, gasping for air. She looked at me worried etched to her face.

"Are you alright?" I fixed myself and then a fake smile curled to my lips.

"Yup. What are you doing here?" I asked nervously, she raised her eyebrows at me as if I'm out of this world.

"I'm doing our assignment in Science, by the way are you going to canteen? The others are over there." She wiggled her eyebrows at me and I blushed furiously at her.

"By the way, Angel?"

"Yeah?" I said.

"Um.... I'm sorry." Oh, that. "I'm so sorry for keeping a secret from you. I'm sorry that I haven't told you about it. Angel, I'm sorry." She bowed down her head. She really means it.

Yeah, I got mad about that, but she's still my best friends. Best friends work together.

I put my hands on her shoulder. I breathed and, "Anne, yeah I got mad about that. You know I hate it when someone keeps a secret from me. But still Anne, you're still my best friend. So I forgive you."

She looked up to me and smiled happily. She directly hugged me tight. "Thank you Angel. Thank you."

"You're welcome best friend."

Even though we fight many times, just learn to forgive. But if it gets out of the line, it's your choice to forgive or not.
