"Mac!" Until when will he stop playing those video games? It's pissing me off. Ugh! He's been playing those games for 2 hours already and does he not remember what day it is today?
Today's our 5th anniversary.
Wow. I didn't know we'd last for five years. Yes, we're living in together since our parents know we are in a relationship and that gave them an idea that we should stay together. I don't know what's in our parents mind. But duuuuh how can we celebrate our fifth anniversary if he's just playing there with those video games.
"Wow Mac, just WOW" he still didn't budge to speak. He's still ignoring me. K fine. "Fine!"
I stood up already and went to my room. I mean, our room.
I took out the anniversary gift in my drawer that I was supposed to give it to him now, but I guess he's busy.
I sighed and sat on our bed. I opened the scrapbook and there are all our pictures with our friends. There was also pictures when I said yes to him. Usually before our date on our monthsary, we'd celebrate it first with our friends and they took lot of pictures. There were pictures when he gave me a huge teddy bear, chocolates and flowers. Our friends even took a lot of pictures of us during Valentine's Day and such occasions. The scrapbook I made is big because we've been in a relationship for 5 years now and I wanted to give him something special.
I'll think I'll give this to him later.
I was about to stand up when someone hugged me from behind. His smell is so good and his hug was so warm and comfortable.
"Hey" he said. His voice made me shiver. Even for 5 years of being in a relationship with him, I still get shivers through my spine if he speaks like that.
"Hey" I managed to say. Even though he's ignoring me a while ago, I still can't help but forgive him.
"I have something to give to you." He broke away from the hug and I turned around to face him. I am still sitting on the bed and he reached at the side of the bed and gave me a wrapped up gift box.
Why does he need to wrap it up?
"Open it babe." He said.
I tore the gift wrap and revealed a box. It was a huge box. What is this?
I looked at him and he smiled and signal me to go on.
I opened the box and—oh my gosh! It was a puppy.
A puppy!!
OMG.
"M-Mac.."
"Happy fifth anniversary babe." He said and kissed my forehead. I can't believe it! A puppy is all I ever wanted since I was a child.
The puppy was sleeping but then it woke up and yawn. Aw! So cute!
"What will you name him babe?" So it's a boy. The puppy's a boy.
"Hmmm.... I don't know babe. What would you name him?" I said as I slowly pick up the puppy.
"Lukey?" Pff. HAHAHAHA why of all names did he chose that?
"Really?"
Mhm... what's the best name for you? Huh little one? He's so cute! I want to hug him tight.
"You have such beautiful eyes little one." Hmm... how about Sparkles? Too girly?
How about..... Ahh!
"How about Spike?"
I just thought about it and it sounds nice.
"Spike is a nice name tho." I smiled and look at the puppy.
"Hey little one, we named you spike. Do you like it?" Then it suddenly let out his tongue and his eyes sparkled. "I think he likes it Mac."
Those blue orbs struck me. It's so beautiful. Like there's really life in it and it came to Spike.
Oh, I forgot to give him something. "Hey Mac-" wait, where is he? He was just here a while ago. Did he go out? I didn't even noticed he went out. Maybe I was just pre-occupied of Spike. Cuteness overload.
"Mac?" I turned around if he was there but he isn't. I looked around but there was no Mac. Suddenly, Spike got loose of my hands and came running. "Spike!" Where is he going? Boy he sure can run.
"Arf! Arf!" I don't understand until he went outside. Wait the door's not closed? "Arf! Arf!"
I heard Spike's puppy voice. It came from outside. What's there outside anyway?
I went outside our front door to check it but suddenly strums of guitars was heard. OMG!
I saw boys with guitars with them. What's all this? Did Mac prepared all of these?
I looked around if Max was there but he wasn't. Where could he be?
Suddenly they began singing which made me alert. The people walking around stopped and looked at them. Seriously what's happening?
Then someone sang. That person did a solo, but it was none of them singing.
'I love you for a thousand more'
That voice. It keeps my heart throbbing. I turned at my left only to see Mac with Spike and was holding a microphone while singing. Omg!
I can't believe what's happening. He was looking at me straight in the eyes. He smiled at me with his beautiful teeth. Then he went near to me. I can't explain to myself what I'm feeling right now.
He first let down Spike then came to me.
He then stopped singing and hugged me. "Happy Anniversary babe." The mic was near to him that made everyone squeal. Yep, the people were looking at the scene. I don't care as long as Mac's with me. "I love you."
"I love you too." I hugged him tighter. I will never forget this amazing day. I didn't even know that we will last. All I know is that I love him so much and no one or nothing will change that. Oh, I forgot something.
"Mac, this is for you." I handed him the scrapbook that I made. He opened it and smiled as he turn pages of the scrapbook. I feel sad because that's all I gave to him comparing him preparing all of these just for me. "I'm sorry if that's all." He cupped my cheek and smiled.
"Babe, all I need is you. I don't care if you don't have anything for me. You're all that I need." He kissed my forehead and hugged me. "I love you and I'll never stop loving you."
"I love you too babe." He cupped my cheek then slowly leaned down. I closed my eyes as I felt his warm lips touched mine. His kiss was passionate and full of love.
Loving him was a lesson.
Loving him was a part of my life.
And loving him was all I can do.
