When I woke up, Jane was still sleeping. I jumped off to bed and went to kitchen to prepare our breakfast. It's past 10 am and I'm starving to death. Jane and I slept last night at almost 12 midnight because she's too eager to know what does Kiefer and I talked about at the parking lot. All I do the whole night was just rolling my eyes to her. Mabuti nalang at tumawag si Greg kung hindi ay hindi niya talaga ako tatan-tanan.
While I was busy mixing the pancake batter when I heard a door creak. Maybe it was Jane. Pagtingin ko sa likod ay agad siyang umupo sa high-chair at nakaloko na ang ngisi.
"What?" I frowned.
"Ang aga-aga may nagtext na sayo ha" teasing me. Hindi ko ma-gets ang sinasabi niya.
"Nagising ako kasi ang ingay ng phone mo. 'Yun pala si ano. Yung piloto mo ay este piloto ng P.A" she said and I almost drop the wire whisk. And then I realize what she said. Did she read our conversation? Wait, there's nothing important in our convo right? Right?
"What did you do?" I said frowning. She laughed at me while tapping her stomach.
"You should've seen your face" She said while wiping tears of laughter from her face.
"You're blushing and relax there okay?, I didn't do anything but you know what, girl I think captain likes you" she said and giggled. I rolled my eyes and faced the pancake batter. I in the urge of going into my room and read his message.
"Shut up ka nga, He's only being nice" I said. Trying to sound annoyed.
"Tingnan mo 'yun, baka magalit yun" she said kaya lumingon ako sa kanya.
"You think so?"
"Gottcha! You like him too!" she shrieked. Kaya hinubad ko ang apron at tinapun sa mukha niya. I walked by to her grab an inch of her hair and pull it. She rolled her eyes to me and chuckled. Damn! I don't like him!
Nang makalabas ako sa kusina ay agad akong tumakbo papunta sa kwarto. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at umupo sa kama. I rolled down the notification bar and I saw a bunch of text message from him. I can't help it but to smile.

You aren't replying
"Ang laki ng ngiti ah? Anong sabi?" biglang singit ni Jane at lumapit siya para kunin ang phone ko pero iniwas ko na agad. I gasped and compose myself.
"Ang damot ah? Patingin" pagpipimilit niya. I glared at her.
"Ano ba! He only said good morning"
"Asuuus! Patingin kung gano'n?" she said. Tumayo ako sa kama at naglakad papunta sa pinto.
"Jane stop, Tingnan mo na lang yung niluluto ko baka nasunog na 'yun"
"Tsee! Nagda-dahilan ka lang eh!" nagmartsa siya palabas ng kwarto. After she left the room, I smiled widely. What's up to him? I checked my phone again and re-read his messages.
I didn't replied to him because I have nothing to say. The whole day, Jane and I locked ourselves in the condo. We just do Harry Potter marathon and ordered pizza. Tinapos namin lahat ng series. Kahit ilang beses namin itong panuorin, we'll never get tired of it. Nag-text din si daddy na mag-eextend daw siya doon dahil may balak na naman siyang maglagay ng business doon. Well, what's new? It was always like that. Every special events, he's always missing in action but I support him.
