Happy Birthday Sea-Kun!!!
Peter let out a noise of surprise when Wendy almost tripped over a loose branch, and he caught her. "You've been tripping a lot, you okay?" Peter asked, steadying the girl.
"Fine, I'm fine," Wendy replied, waving Peter off and grabbing his hand to intertwine their fingers once more. Peter nodded halfheartedly and started walking beside the girl and wound up catching her again.
"Wendy?" He asked, making her sit on a nearby log, "What's up?"
Wendy sighed, "It's just a common cold," She finally answered.
Peter put the back of his hand to her forehead and made a whining sound, "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, "We could have stayed at your place and binged Doctor Who!"
"I didn't want you to be upset..." Wendy replied, glaring at the dirt path the two had been on.
"Why would I be upset?" Peter asked, tilting his head with confusion.
Wendy turned her head away from Peter and glared at the trunk of a tree instead, her cheeks flared up with embarrassment, "Because if you knew I was sick, we wouldn't go on this walk, and I know you really wanted to walk through the park."
"Well, yeah, I did want to walk through the park," Peter admitted, "But I only want to do so if you aren't sick!" With that, Peter lifted Wendy up bridal style and began heading back the way they had come.
"Peter! Put me down!" Wendy cried, "I'm heavy! I can walk! And if you stay too close you'll get sick too!" She started flaring her arms and legs in an attempt to get free, but Peter wasn't letting that happen anytime soon.
"You're NOT heavy, and I won't get sick because I'm the awesome Sea-Kun!" Peter replied with a grin, "Besides, what kind of boyfriend makes his sick girlfriend walk home?" Wendy's cheeks flared again, and Peter pecked her forehead. She didn't reply and allowed herself to be carried all the way home, and once they had arrived Peter stayed and they did indeed binge Doctor Who.
