I returned home after my interesting time at the mall at 1pm.
It surprised me how there could be so many people who like someone but at the same time there were people who hated others. It was strange to me. I never got why someone could hate you for no reason.
But it hurt.
I shook it off, staying as positive as possibe. This wasn't going to ruin me. It was something as simple as forgetting the bad things people said. I could do that. It should be easy.
As I slumped in the chair, I read through the celebrity news magazine in my hands, my eyes widen, taking in the picture I stumbled across.
It was a picture of Justin and I. We weren't holding hands in the picture. I was slightly behind, the paparazi bombarding us. Justin's hand was reached out, trying to cover and stop the cameras.
The caption read: Justin Bieber spotted with girlfriend Dae Parker. The two have been in a seemingly happy relationship for longer than we expected. We haven't seen them out together for weeks. But this photo taken three days ago, leaving a dinner date, shows no love between the two. Could this be the seed of a rocky start?
People really needed to get their facts straight. To them, we were more independent. Not holding hands, no mushy, love-doveyness. But that was in their eyes.
If that's what it took for them to assume the worst from one picture like this, I didn't know what to think of them. Either they twisted the words or the situation. And that made me mad.
I flipped through the rest of the magazine, giving up. I didn't want to take anymore of it so I tossed it aside.
Distracting me from my thought was my phone, buzzing once against the kitchen table.
*Hey, you should come over.* Justin's text said. I didn't know if I wanted to. Too much was going on through my mind. I ignored it.
I brought my purse and my bag from Forever21 and went straight up to my room. I set my things down, plopping onto my bed. It had been a good fifteen minutes before Justin sent another text.
*Come on, I know you want to. You can't resist your boyfriend :)*
As I started to type a reply, the text bubble indicating that he was writing his text, showed up, followed by another text from him.
*If you don't start heading over, I'll have to come and kidnap you... ;)*
*Fine. Don't resort to that stupid ;) I'll be there in 10.* I replied. I threw on my sweatshirt and headed down the strreet.
I stood at his door and before my knuckles reached the dark stained wood of the door, it swung open, a happy and smiling Justin appearing. His hand gently and gracefully grasped my wrist spinning me and pulling me close to him.
"Hi." He said, his nose brushing mine. I tip-toed, leaning in to leave a kiss to his soft lips. He smiled before letting me go.
I walked inside, hearing the door shut behind me. We walked up to his room and I fell ont the matress and stared at the cieling, millions of thoughts rushing through my head over and over.
"You okay?" He asked, his brow furrowed in concern. My head hung slightly over the edge, my hair waterfalling down over the duvet.
Justin sat the the edge, next to me, his leg brushing my shoulder. He peered down at me, studying me as my eyes met his.
"I guess," I paused, "I have to tell you what happened today, at the mall." I sat up now almost eye level with him.
He shuffled in his seat before finally facing me. I crossed my legs, my hands in my lap as I fiddled with my fingers.
"So I was eating in the food court when I hear these girls laughing. I thought maybe they were just telling each other stories and stuff. But the one girl knew who I was and called me a poser. The other realized who I was and asked for a picture but her friend just hated me. It was a weird experience. I never knew what it felt like that when someone personally didn't like you." I said, admitting what happened.
"It's hard hearing things like that. When there are people that don't like you. Don't pay attention to them babe. Cuz for every hater there are way more that love and adore you." He whispered to me, kissing my cheek.
"Okay." I smiled, blushing as he pulled away.
"Hey. Come with me to a radio show. It's at the Kz100. I get to perform an acoustic song and there will be a few fans to watch inside the station. I want you to come, please?" He trailed off, saying please for far too long.
"Fine, when is it?" I asked him. His lips pulled into a smile and his hand grasped mine.
He pulled my after him, out the door and into the fresh air. As I sat and buckled up, we drove down to the radio station building. It didn't take more than ten minutes before we finally arrived.
He led me up to the door, saying his name before the guy at the counter nodded in approval.
Justin shook hands with a few guys before the station host met up with him. He led him into a room where there were counters with microphones, cords, and screens upon screens. I stayed just outside of the room, peering through the viewing window on the north side of the room.
Justin turned to me, winking as they got everything set up before the show. I blushed, and then I noticed something.
The show host, eyeing us, before a sly smile turned the sides of his lips up into a smile...
Oh gosh, this was gonna be an interesting show.
