Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. Half Saiyan and half human Trunks was surrounded by a scientific environment. Having his mother and grandfather as scientists. He was also one of the stars in the Dragonball GT (which wasn't based on Toriyama's manga). Dragonball GT was about the journey around space that Trunks, Goku, and Pan had traveled in search of the Black Star dragonballs.
