Chapter 3

Sorry, I didn't update yesterday!! I had some drama and a football game I was required to be at.

Anyone else hate being rejected?? I'm with you guys.

Kylee's POV:

As we were sitting there enjoying the drinks I asked her if she was hungry. When she replied with a yes I ordered two chocolate filled scones, our favorites. When they brought the scones we both breathed in the heavenly scent of chocolate and dug in. When we finished the scones I asked, "Shouldn't we be going? We're already late as it is." "Yeah I guess so, they'll be waiting for us." Jessica spoke too late. We were about to leave when we heard two loud british voices yelling "WHERE ARE OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRLS AT?! WE HOPE THEY KNOW THEY'RE LATE!!" I turned my wide, weary eyes to Jessica and whispered fearfully, "They found our café!!" Jessica then pulled her hat lower onto her face and told me to do the same. I gave her the second book in my bag and we buried our faces into them. The next thing we heard was Duncan's voice yelling, "ARRAN LOOK!! FLAMING RED HAIR!!" and we also heard Arran's declaration of, "DUNCAN LOOK!! ICY WHITE HAIR AND BLUE ENDS!!" I looked at Jessica and yelled, "RUN!!" As we tried to run we found that we were picked up like potato sacks and thrown over Arran's and Duncan's shoulders. We fought and yelled but it was to no avail. When we got a few blocks from the café Duncan looked at me and Jessica and asked, "If we put you down will you guys stay here?" When we mumbled a yes they put us down. Five seconds later Jessica yelled, "SPLIT!!" We ran into two different alleys that we knew and met up right before the parking lot that our bikes were in. We ran until we couldn't hear the pounding of their feet. When we finally made it to the aforementioned parking lot, I asked "Hey, Jess why don't we beat them to their apartment and then they'll be the ones even later than us!!" When she agreed we rode to their apartment and let ourselves in with the spare key they gave us. We went into the living room and we turned up their radio, it was my favorite song, and I jumped up and started dancing and singing to the song. Soon after I started Jessica joined in. When the chorus came I turned around and......stopped dead in my tracks because Arran and Duncan were standing there watching us.
