Kylee POV

I was nervous. How can I explain the nightmares to Arran? I mean Jessica already knows and I suspect she may have confided in Duncan once, but Arran would take this to the extreme and try to stop them. You can't. Believe me, Jessica and I have tried. I got up and started pacing. Next thing I remember was being pulled roughly back into a hard body with a silver-steel blade at my throat. I didn't remember screaming but the next thing I knew Jessica,Duncan, and Arran are running into the room.

Jessica POV

I watched with tears in my eyes as the man dug his blade slightly deeper into Kylee's neck. "Nobody moves or else ginger here gets it." He demanded in a gruff voice. Kylee struggled against him and I saw in her eyes when she gave up. She never gives up...this-this was not good! "Don't worry Jess, Arran and Duncan will take care of you." I stepped forward. "B-But you p-promised me it w-would always be u-us t-to together." "Sometimes Jess, promises are broken." "BUT YOU PROMISED ME, AND YOU NEVER GO BACK ON YOUR PROMISES!!" as I screamed the last part, some of the glasses in the kitchen shattered and started to fly around me in a tornado...and I was the eye of the storm. I was about to make the glass fly towards the man but then I felt a hand on my shoulder and the feeling of love flooding in and replacing the anger. I looked back at the owner of the hand and was mildly surprised to see that it was Duncan. "The boss will be very happy that I found all of his pets." The gruff man sneered at us. Duncan murmured softly into my ear "Let Arran handle this." At that moment I looked over at Arran to see that his eyes had gone from their usual icy-blue to black with flames where the irises should have been.
