Carter was about to try and contact the demigods when Walt came rushing into the room. He had a troubled look on his face. His dark brown face was glistening with sweat, so he must have been outside. "What is it?" Carter asked nervously.

"The demigods have attacked Brooklyn House. Somehow they broke through our barriers and started attacking us," Walt said with confusion in his tone.

"That doesn't make sense. How would they know where we are? Why attack us? Where are they now?" Carter threw at Walt.

"I can only answer the last question," Walt said.

Carter walked behind Walt to one of the training rooms. The Seven, Reyna, and Nico were tied up in the center of the room, watched over by Zia. "About time you got here," Zia said.

Carter stopped in front of the demigods. "What are you doing here?" he asked them.

"We were sent here by you," Reyna stated.

"Right," Carter said sarcastically. "What were you looking for?"

"You're sister," Percy said.

Carter was taken aback by that. Before he could say anything more, Dimitri strolled into the room with magicians at his side. "Just like I said. The demigods are out to destroy us. They broke into our pharaoh's nome and tried to kill our fellow brothers and sisters. They can't be trusted," Dimitri said dramatically to the group of magicians. They ate up his performance. Horrified expressions appeared on their different faces.

"That's not what happened," Jason exclaimed. The demigods nodded along.

"We were told by Carter to come to this location to help save his sister," Hazel explained quickly.

"I never talked to you yet. That is what I was doing when Walt came to me about this," Carter said.

"What? We talked to you. You apologized for the attacks on our camps and sent us here," Nico insisted.

"Even now they won't admit to what they've done. Always been deceitful," Dimitri said in disgust. He didn't tell anyone, but he had personal reasons for his hatred.

"Carter, you have to believe us," Percy pleaded desperately. He could tell that Carter doesn't believe their story.

"We must've been set up by someone," Annabeth said.

"Excuses," Dimitri claimed. "They have broken their promise to us. This is the second offense against us in a week."

"Hold up. You attacked our camps and you want to-" Frank started, but was interrupted by a stern look from Hazel.

"I think the demigods are telling the truth. Dimitri, you are holding-" Carter stopped when Dimitri gave him a 'be quiet or else' look. "Never mind what I think. I still need to follow the rules. You broke our promise. We were suppose to stay separate. I'm afraid there will be a punishment."

Dimitri nodded in satisfaction. "Thank you pharaoh," he said.

"Carter," Percy said as a last plead for understanding.

Carter looked Percy in the eyes. He knew his friend was telling the truth and in his face he told Percy that. Carter had to prove their innocence before he could do something or until Sadie is safe from harm. He turned his gaze to Walt, who is battling with Anubis on the inside on what to do. Both of them want to save Sadie with all their heart, yet they know doing something rash won't help Sadie. Walt looks away from Carter to hide his terminal. Carter looks to Zia. Her face was expressionless.

"Zia, send them to the Three-Hundred-and-sixtieth-Nome," Carter ordered.
