Rey's POV
Our kingdom has been under attack. I wouldn't necessarily say attack. It's not like a whole kingdom is attacking us. They call them the knights.
What kingdom they reign from is a mystery to all the kingdoms they pillage.
The Knights of Ren. Seven Knights, one or more leaders. Their known leader, Kylo Ren. And fath.....
"Lady Rey, your father demands your presence. "
"Thank you, I will be down in a moment. " I closed my journal and stood up. I grabbed my crown and walked to my mirror. I gently placed the crown upon my head.
I walked downstairs to my father, who was talking to two men. One look like a king and the other a prince.
"Rey, my dear, may I present his majesty, Prince Poe, of the Dameron kingdom." My father said.
"Poe? That is really your name?"
"Rey!" I looked at my father.
"Your majesty, it is quite fine." Poe said, " It is my name, I guess my mother could not have named me Poppy, now could she."
"I guess not, Poppy, was that her favorite flower?"
"It was."
"Rey, dear, why don't you and Prince Poe go and walk through the gardens while I and the King negotiate. "
"Yes father." Poe came up to me and offered his arm to me. I linked arms with him and we headed to the gardens.
"Princess Rey, what do you think of The Knights of Ren?"
"Is a man asking me about my opinions on the current troubles of this kingdom, let alone all of the neighboring kingdoms."
"Would it be so terrible if I were?"
"No, No I do not believe so."
"Well Princess, what do you think? "
"I think we should do something about it, instead of just letting them ransack everything. "
"Oh, and whose men would do that? There isn't enough men in all of the kingdoms to overcome, let alone depose of the Knights. "
"Recruit more men, there are a great many men that could step up and fight against them."
"It would be a slaughter. Their Leader has a power, foreign to us all. He would kill them in one swipe. "
"Then we need t...."
"Excuse me Princess, Prince, The King summons both of you, negotiations are done."
"Thank you." We walked back to the kingdom. My father always knows how to interpret every thought, writing, and conversation about the Knights.
"My dear children please, please come here. We have great news."
"At a young age we discussed a joining of kingdoms. Rey, I am afraid I never told you. But since you were young, you were betrothed to the Prince here."
