So I walk in the door.
Not knowing what's in store.
The slap of my foot, covers the floor. You told me friends, I'd lose.
But don't I get to choose?
Which I'd leave on me a bruise. So many more you'll meet.
Beside me you can take a seat.
I'll help you out not to get beat.Because that's the rule,
Right? ... to survive school?
To prove you're not a fool. Each other, you I'll look out for.
I'll protect your good core.
To show you there's more. That's our job, right?
Not 'no', not 'might'...
Yes! And sometimes we'll fight. But it's because we love each other.
Like you do me, like you're a brother.
You know I'll be there to give you cover. You are my mate, mate.
This was like fate.
Our relationship is a steel crate.I know you never bend.
Even in the strongest wind.
I really wish to every single god that you were innocent. But we are both no longer kids.
We closed that past with lids.
And we have placed our bids.Wherever we shall go,
Where I don't know.
I hope together, down the river we will flow.Back then you told me I was meant for something better.
It seems since you told me this...it's been forever.
But at least we have stuck together. We be living crazy lives, we wish that you could see it too.
Seeing it, seeing us write these poems for you and you.
And every time we write it, you'll know we're bleeding blue.Man, this is our life.
Days filled with strife.
Go, at least get yourself a wife.So here it is, side by side, we lay.
It seems like we met only yesterday.
I wish we could go again and play.So here together we will die.
At least I'll have you by my side.
Remember what we said that day, 'I'll be with you 'til the end of the line?'Yeah, it's funny, on how this will end.
On our way, God, us will send.
But our brotherhood will never bend.I am happy and proud to call you... my friend.
Goodbye, brother.
