So I believe your a good man.
No matter what you do I understand.
Because we all make at least one big mistake.
But the aftermath brings us awake.
No matter what you may do.
You can't infect me with your flu.
You can threaten my family and freinds.
But I will never bend.
You can hit me over the head.
My spirit you can try to shred.
But I will not tread.
I'll forgive, instead.
You can hate me, but I won't fight.
Because I know that's not right.
Go ahead, me beat.
But the good inside you, you'll one day meet.
Go ahead put the gun to my face.
But after, please, love and kindness chase.
Go on now pull the trigger.
Your hate will only grow bigger.
So you still want to kill me?
Think of what you could be!
The good in you I see.
For my life, I won't plea.
I will not lay at your feet and beg.
I've seen the blue blood you've bled.
I understand the pain.
But don't bring yourself this shame.
I can help you
To be true.
I see you are still good.
And you, I forgive.
Because if you can't forgive, why go on living?
