Every Pokemon's head snapped towards Dusknoir. Team SteelSpark's, Grovyle's, every Pokemon's in the freaking town.

You're coming to the future with me!" Dusknoir grabbed the two, and Rose yelped. She knew she shouldn't have trusted Dusknoir. She was glad she didn't. But now, everything went black.

...

Rose jolted awake, with a shriek. She looked around her, the place was dark, very, very dark. "Where am I?"

She then saw a window. She went over to it, looked through, and gasped at what she saw.

The place was dark. Very, very dark. There was no sun. There were floating rocks. The trees were dead. All foliage was either dead or nonexistent. And it was all dark. Very, very dark.

"Rose?"

Rose stumbled back from the window, and turned to Jet, who was standing behind her, looking concerned, "Look out the window, Jet. You must. It's so... So..."

Jet tilted his head, but went ahead and did so. He went to the window, and made a little yelp. "What happened?!" He stuttered.

"This is the Future, Jet," Rose said, her voice shaky, "We're in the Future."

Jet stumbled back as well. Then there was a slight sound. They turned, but were both knocked out.

...

When Rose came to again, she was bound to a pole. She squirmed, trying to get free, but it was useless. "Jet!" She called. "Jet, are you there? Please don't tell me I'm not alone here!"

"Nah Rose, I'm here," She heard Jet's voice, and a light flickered on. She turned to her left, to see Jet right beside her, in the same situation.

"Thank goodness we aren't separated or anything," Jet mumbled, "That whole thing with seeing the Future for the first time really unsettled me."

"Same here," Rose shivered, "I mean, if only there was a Pokemon from the Future that wasn't trying to kill us, and could help us from something like this. I was right about Dusknoir all along! I'm glad I didn't trust him! But... I guess we're the only two here, right?"

"No, you're not," A voice sounded to Rose's right, "I'm sure you remember the third Pokemon that was swept to the Future with you two, right, Rose? I'm sure you know." The voice. It was so low, and smooth, and awfully familiar.

The light to Rose's right flickered on, and Rose was staring into two golden eyes.

"Grovyle!" Jet gasped.

"You too?" Rose stuttered.

"Yep..." He sighed, "Rose, I'm surprised you didn't fall for Dusknoir's trick. Though I did see it when you walked up to him. He's a very deceptive Pokemon, but, in the end, he reveals himself to be evil, and, of course, some find the real Pokemon to trust."

Rose went through what Grovyle said. Some find the real Pokemon to trust? Does he mean...

Then there was the sound of slight pattering. Bright, crystal-eyes looked up at them with a bloodthirsty look. Jet gasped. Grovyle stiffened. Rose felt a chill go down her spine.

"Why hello you three," A voice Rose knew all too well said, "Ah, Rose, you look absolutely claustrophobic! Don't worry, this won't take long. Jet, I see you have met my minions. They're Sableye. They are also glad to meet you. And... Grovyle... Long time no see. My plan worked, I brought all three of you here!"

"Wait... What do you mean... And... Dusknoir, you've met..." Jet stuttered, not seeking to get his words out in time.

"Yes, I've met Grovyle before, if that's what you're asking," Dusknoir said, "We're both Pokemon of the Future, after all. Besides, haven't we been at each other's throats for a while now, Grovyle?" He added to Grovyle, who just grunted in response.

Jet looked at one Sableye, who was edging nearer, and visibly shivered, "Why are these Sableye here, Dusknoir?"

"To tear you apart. Tear you to shreds, all three of you," Dusknoir said darkly, "I gave you a while to get... Acquaintanced... Before you die. But... I'm pretty sure you've all met before, right?"

The three said their responses at once. "(With clenched teeth) Yes we have, Dusknoir... (Grovyle)" "Duh. (Jet)" "Y-Yeah... You were there... (Rose)"

"I know I was there, dear Rose. Anyways, Sableye, commence, NOW!"

At the sound of the command, the Sableye started slashing at the vulnerable Pokemon.

Rose felt pain all over. She grimaced as the Sableye clawed at her. Jet yelped when his Sableye hit a weak spot, and Grovyle was wincing. Just like Rose. Rose didn't know when it would stop.

"I THOUGHT YOU SAID IT WOULD BE OVER SOON!" Jet cried.

"Hoo hoo ha yes I did. But, I might have lied there," Dusknoir said.

"Dusknoir~!" Mutters a certain Pokemon to Rose's right.

"Pssh, Grovyle, you've gotten used to my tricks, don't tell me you didn't see this coming."

Rose then heard Grovyle mumble something else, not directed to anyone else in the room. She heard the words, "I guess I can say I tried..." Rose wanted to tilt her head at the comment, but the Sableye... Agh, she may be tough, but the pain from the clawing, scratching, and slashing were getting to be too much for her. Rose was about to cry out like Jet may or may not have been doing, but that's when she heard something that made her perk up.

Snap.

"The ropes!" She said, with clenched teeth from the pain, to the Pokemon beside her, "They're snapping because of the Sableye! If they continue, and they surely will, we can break through and sneak attack the Sableye! That's the flaw!"

"THANK GOODNESS THERES A SOLUTION TO STOP THIS PAIN," Jet shrieked. "That didn't come into mind until you said it, good going Rose," Grovyle said thoughtfully.

So they waited, and endured more pain, until Rose shouted with the breath she had left, "Now!" They broke free with the remaining strength they had, and gave the Sableye a good beating of their own. Rose gasped and panted when they all had been defeated, and about collapsed on the ground with the Sableye, but she was caught and held steady.

"I may or may not have forgotten about the ropes," Dusknoir admitted, "Anyways, as weak as you probably all are, I'm sure it won't be as hard to end you myself!"

"Not today, Dusknoir," Grovyle shouted, and pulled out something. Before Rose could ask, there was a blinding light, and Rose had to close her eyes to shield them. And then, she felt something close in around her.

A/N... Darn... This chapter got long. Real fast. Well den XD I had fun writing this chapter. And, of course, my PMD Bae remains tough, brave, and determined. Good going, Grovyle. Ahem. I'll see you next time!
