Mega Love

Chapter Two

      The bright light is blinding as I step outside. Closing the door behind me, I turn to see that I am not alone. Two beautiful young ladies are standing in front of my front door, almost as if they are waiting for me. I take notice of the girl on the left first. She has gorgeous blond hair up in a ponytail, bright peach skin, and bright blue eyes. She's right around my height and is rocking a red high-waisted skirt, a black collared shirt, a pink tote bag, and some black high tops. The girl on the right is a little shorter. She is more tanned, has brown hair arranged in four big swirls, and green eyes. I can tell she is going more for the cutesie look with her pink shirt lined with black bows, pink messenger bag, and black skirt. They both look a little surprised at first but quickly grow warm smiles.
      "Wow! We were literally about to knock on the door to greet you!" says the girl on the right as she chuckles at the coincidence.
      "Welcome to Vaniville Town! My name's Serena. I'm your neighbor," adds on the girl to the left. Serena... I like it. She seems mellow yet sweet. Plus, she is totally my type.
      "And I'm Shauna! Great to meet you!" she throws in. Shauna definitely strikes me as a very cheery person.
      "Thanks! My name's Calem. It must be my lucky day. It's not everyday I get two pretty girls knocking at my door to greet me," I reply. Both girls laugh, and I smile victoriously.
      "Must be!" says Serena as she stops laughing.
      "And guess what! We've come to get you!" adds Shauna.
      "Really?" I reply.
      "Yup! The esteemed Professor Sycamore lives here in the Kalos region. I was told he has a request for five teens including us. But I'm a little surprised he knows who you are. You did just move to Vaniville after all," says Serena.
      "That is a little odd. What kind of request is it?" I ask.
      "We're not completely sure, but we are supposed to meet up with the other two in the next town over. They will probably fill us in," replies Serena.
      "And you know what?! We're going to get... a Pokémon! C'mon! Hurry! Let's go!" yells Shauna in excitement. She turns around and starts making her way outside my yard.
      "Wait! What! Are you serious?!" I reply.
      " Yup!" she answers back before starting to run off into town.
      I turn to look at Serena and she doesn't, seem to surprised by Shauna's energy. She looks back at me and we both just laugh. Once we both have ourselves together, Serena nods at me as if saying "If we don't start running now we will never catch her" and I nod back in agreement. We both then book it after Shauna.
