26. Solution

Noah P.O.V

I sat in my office and looked out the window at Amara taking calls and I smiled. She was feeling better and so was I, I didn't let her see the hell I was in without her. She need space and I did to, after trying to kill her I felt like something worse then shit. She looked better now, smiling and laughing even I feel better. She got to meet Colm new mate and Gina is great but more importantly Colm is happy now. He honestly smiles and laugh about things and to see him happy for once makes me happy.

"Mr. Hudson you have a meeting in 10 minutes." Amara said over the intercom.

"Thank you Ms. Hudson." I said back and she looked back at me and smiled.

I love that woman but we are not in the clear just yet. I have to tell her I killed her mother already. I should have told her a month ago but she wont have taken it right then. After I tried to kill her I had to go back and check the place out and the number of vampires working with them are crazy. It was at least 150 they had there at once and her mother walked outside and we got her easy. The things she said before I killed her was crazy and I have to talk with Amara about them.

I looked up when the door opened and Amara walked in with water in her hand and a small twitch in her walk. This woman is amazing she honestly got sexier and since she got pregnant but I hate when her wings are tucked away. She sat the water down and headed for the door.

"Amara dear, I'm going to be leaving work early today. So meet me in the lunch area after you are done up here." She nodded to me pushing her hair back.

I looked as she turned walking away and eye couldn't leave her ass. I felt the erection start to grow and I though of calling her back into my office till the elevator rang. I saw the pack leader from Detroit walk pass Amara and into my office.

"Mr. Hudson how are you?" Mark said looking at me.

I stood walking to him shaking his hand with a tight grip.

"Good Mark, how are you?" I said looking out the door to Amara.

She was looking into my office at Mark, examining him and I listened to her thoughts as we sat down.  

"Wow, I haven't seen many black guys as Alphas but he is impressive. Tall, muscular, and a nice hair, I'll give him a 9/10 anyday." She said before turning around to her desk and I felt jealous already.

"Come on Amara who are you kidding, Mr. Nosy easy dropping on your thoughs right now is a 10/10 all day. Okay Noah, I can't hear you but I know you're in here you jealous puppy." She though turning back to look at me smiling.

I smiled at her then tuned into what Mark was saying to me and it was just pack funding stuff mixed with his personal life.

"Alright Mark its late and for right now you can fax me over anything." I said after 20 minutes of talking with him.

I walked him to elevator and stepped in with him as we both headed down stairs.

Amara P.O.V

I looked at the time and it was 9:00 now and I was tired and ready to go home for the night and sleep like a rock.

"Noah, are you in the lunch area?" I said connecting to him.

"Yes, I am and I have food for you." He said just as tired as I was.

I got up taking everything with me and walking down stairs to the lun area that was dark a silent like I've never seen before. I spotted Noah sitting down at alarge table and he looked tired with his long hair. Wonder why he never cut it?

"Are we alone?" I asked walking to him and he stood.

"Yeah, everyone here now is just other pack members." He said pulling a chair out for me.

I pulled my shirt up some letting my wings come out and I took a breath of relief, then sat down looking at the food. I didnt know what it was, some type of soup and a hamburger but I didnt care I just ate.

"Amara I killed your mother already." Noah said but and I looked at him.

I didn't say anything to him because of two things, I was shocked and I strangely didn't care either.

"How?" I asked with a blank expression.

"I would rather not say how, it was messy." He said and I slowly nodded.

"Well, alright then." I said digging into my food.

"Well she told me a lot about what their plan is and how they are going to do it. They want to killed you because, your sister Karen." He said.

"Yeah, but we know that. This is more about upholding the family name. I am the only fighting far born to this family." I said looking at him.

"That's the thing we don't know that. Karen never got her wings before she passed away." I looked at him and put my food down.

"What does this mean?" I asked nervous.

"They want to killed you by cutting off your wings, that what the whole plan is. Karen was a fairy but she never grew her wings because she never embraced her good side. Your wings have a lot of powers, so you may never discover but a big one is bring another fae back to life." He said and paused.

"Are you saying they want t cut off my wings to bring Karen back to life?" I said shocked.

"Yes, they never saw what kind of Fairy she was but if they cut off your wings and bring her back they will." He said touching my hand.

"What about Kim? She can always have babies with...that guy." I said to him.

"Yeah but her mate is a wolf, and that's a big risk for your families future. She could have more fae like you or just wolves and they can't bet on that." He said stern.

"What if they do all of this and Karen isn't a innocent like they think she is?" I asked.

"Well they are willing to found out by killing you." He slowly rubbed the back of my hand.

"What's the solution here?" I asked.

"We need to kill your father and soon, because I fear if he can't get to you he'll go for Kim. The vampire that we though were tying to kill, were trying to take you. If we can kill your father what ever deal he made with the vampires are gone. Believe it of not, vampire are reasonable creatures but once they have a deal they stick to it. That's our only solution right now." He said giving me a not worried look.
