The Angel and the Devil

Forget.

Sakura's POV

When i woke up the next morning i felt sick and extremely tired. My body could barely move and every time i did, i felt my body tremble. I look into the mirror standing against a wall. My hair is a mess and my eyes red.

I push myself to get out of bed and comb my hair. My maid tried to open the door but i quickly slam it.

" Don't come in!" I yell to her.

" Miss are you alright?" she asks.

" I'm fine! "

"Um alright..."

I hear her footsteps quiet down as she shuffles away. i sigh a breath of relief and walk back to my mirror. I wash my face, get dressed and tie my hair.

I look in the mirror. My eyes have reverted back to their normal white and blue pupils. I walk downstairs and find Keiichi and my mother chatting.

" Hello Darling. Good morning." says mother.

" Good morning Princess. "Keiichi says.

" Good morning."

" Dear, i thought it would be a good idea if you went out with keiichi today." my mother says.

" Um alright..."

We leave the house and I glance over to The Inbetween. I walk away and we walk to the City Center. We walk around and finally stop at a small cafe to have some lunch. I order some tea and a salmon croquette. The tea arrives and i drink it slowly careful not to burn my tongue.

" Sakura, i must say, i feel honored to marry you."

I blush. " thank you." i reply shyly.

He smiles and i feel that if i had never met Daichi i would have surely fallen in love with the man i am destined to marry. We eat our lunch and then walk back to the house.

He leaves and I walk back to my room. As i close my bedroom door i hear the flapping of my bedroom curtains. I turn around and see Daichi.

" Eeek! "

" Sorry!I didn't mean to scare you."

" What are you doin here?" I hiss.

" I wanted to see you, you never came today."

My mind reverts back to my day spent with Keiichi. I feel guilty.

" I think... we should stop seeing each other."

" What?"

" You should go."

" No! i won't!! I... I love you."

My heart beats at this and i feel my cheeks go red, but i push this down." Go away! I don't love you! Can't you see i'm trying to be happy! Just leave me alone!"

A frown appears on his face and his eyes are filled with Sadness.

" I'm sorry. I'll go." he says quietly.

All i see next is his wings sprouting and then him disappearing into the distance. My knees feel weak and i drop to the floor. I had to forget him. I had to. Tears fill my eyes and i spend the night crying.

The next day I wake up. The sun is shining and I feel better than ever before. I waltz downstairs in my new dress and Mother, Father and Keiichi. Were all sitting down having breakfast. I slid into the chair next to Keiichi and a plate a food was placed in front of me by our maid Kiki.

I ate quietly and Father began to speak.

" I was so very upset yesterday" he said.

" Why is that?" mother asks concerned.

" That damned Devil King is making a large ruckus again, due to his son. what was his name again."

" I despise that boy." keiichi says.

" My my keiichi! Oh his name is Daiichi. " my mother says.

" The Devil king's son? I've never heard of him!" i say.
