The Angel and the Devil

A terrifying Truth

Daiichi's POV

I sit near the door and wait till i hear silence beyond the wood. No sound fills the empty hall or my room. I quickly grab a chair and jam it under the door knob.

I open the window and check for any guards.

None.

I feel a strange prescence but i continue on.

When i arrive in the InBetween i see her. Healthy and beautiful as ever. Her hair sways in the wind and as she turns to look at me she smiles.

" Daichi!!" She flies over to my arms and i hug her.

I kiss her and she replies by hugging me tightly.

" I'm so sorry, it was all my fault." i say.

" No, no it's ok! You saved me!"

Suddenly many guards come out and into the inbetween and hold Sakura down. Others also hold me down.

" Sakura!" i yell.

Her father then strolls out with a grim look, his wife beside him and Keichi behind them.

" Stop father! Please! I beg you!" Sakura yells.

" You have disgraced your family." he says quietly.

" No.... No! NOOO!" she yells. Suddenly an explosion of light bursts from Sakura and the guards are blown away.

" Sakura!" her mother yells.

I walk over to them and shield her family with my large wings stopping the wind from cascading over them.

" What's going on??" i say to her mother.

" This is your fault!!" she yells at sakura's father. " Sakura is an angel of light, the purest of souls but once her emotions run our of control her darkest intentions come out! Now she can't be stopped. "

I turn around and look at her. She looks normal except for a dark glow that escapes from her.

"SAKURA!!" i yell.

" She can't hear you!"

" No! i won't give up!"

I fly up to her and push against the wind, fighting the strong current. I fall back but catch myself and push towards her again.

Suddenly the orb like glow surrounding here subsides and i almost breath a sigh if relief before it whooshes back and solidifies.

I fly up and bang on the hard shell.

" SAKURA!! SAKURA!! ANSWER ME!!

" SHE CAN'T HEAR YOU!" I hear them say.

I use my powers to try to blast through the shell.

Then other beams of light also start hitting the spot i am and when i turn to see, i see everyone else fighting along with me.

Finally , a hole is mad in the shell. It starts to close and i fly into it just before it closes.

I finally reach her and grab her.

I hug her and hope for the best.

Nothing happens except the wind gets stronger and pushes me away.

" Sakura, please. Please come back." i say and then I kiss her.

The light stops and the wind dies down and the sphere dissipates and she falls into my arms and her eyes are closed.

I fly to the ground and lay her on the ground. Her eyes flutter.

She touches my face.

" Daichi."

" I'm here."

She smiles and i help her up.

Her father approaches us and suddenly my father and mother along with Nana do as well.

" I'm sorry Daichi. You really love my Daughter don't you? I was selfish , yet you saved her life"

" Yes." i reply.

" You have my blessing."

" Thank you! "

" But it isn't up to me." he nods to my father.

I turn to him and walk up to him.

" Father. I'm sorry. I can't marry Nana, she is nice but i don't love her."

" Well, if it means that, a catastrophe like that won't happen again , so be it."

I take Sakura's hand and we fly off.

Sakura-

That is the story of how i fell in love with a devil and how i overcame all my problems all for true love. The war between the two worlds stopped and a treaty was formed.

Keiichi overcame his fear and accepted the devils, and even became friends with them! And guess who he fell in love with? Nana. The two were a wonderful pair!

Now i spend my days with my beloved Daichi, happy as ever and with a daughter of our own. That was the first hybrid.

They are called Dengels.

A devil and angel.

Our daughter, Rina, has the shape of a devil's wings but are white.

Has blue eyes but dark hair, and is tanned.

She was the start of our new world.
