Secret Surprise (Leo)

You and Leonardo's two year anniversary was coming up and you were kind of shocked that you had stayed together so long. You were basically skipping down the sewer, excited to see Leo. He texted you earlier this morning and wanted you to come down. You questioned it but he just said it was important. You had your bag in hand that was hiding Leo's gift. You had bought him a locket with a picture of you and him on your first date. A locket may seem girly but the front had a yin yang symbol and the chain was similar to a dog tag chain. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.

You stopped right before entering the guys' lair and thought for a moment. "I wonder if he remembered," you weren't sure about that question. He almost forgot last year but you spoke up a few days before and asked if he was excited. Leo admitted to you he forgot after your anniversary. Most guys would never reveal something like that but Leo was too honest for his own good. You started thinking of testing him. You wouldn't say anything until the end of your anniversary and see if he has anything planned. After your brain was done coming up with your idea, you proceeded towards the dojo and peeked inside to see the guy's finishing up with training. Master Splinter had caught your peeking eyes and ended training with a small smile and retired to his room. It was kind of an odd moment as if he knew something you didn't but it quickly slipped your mind as you saw Leo's body coming closer to where you were.

You felt a shiver go down your spine as you watched Leo's skin glisten in sweat and his frantic breathing started to slow. If someone were to ask you if you thought your boyfriend were hot, you would hurry to say yes. Seeing Leo getting closer, you jumped back from the door and let him open it to see you standing there, waiting for him. He smirked down at you and embraced your small frame. Your hug became a kiss and you smiled when his brothers passed by and made sounds of disgust. You let go of Leo to let out a small laugh but soon went back in for another kiss. You opened your eyes and looked at Leo confused. Instead of being met with his lips, you were met by his finger and he was pushing you away. "Sorry, baby. I have to go talk to Don about something," He explained as he took his finger off of your lips, "I'll be right back!" He left a small kiss on your forehead and left for the lab.

You stood there confused and a little hurt. You were kind of hoping he would be all about you since your anniversary was coming up in about three days. Maybe he did forget. You shook it off and convinced yourself you were being silly and went to sit next to Mikey in front of the TV as he watched Crognard the Barbarian. You tried not to dwell on the fact that Leo might have forgotten after all. It wasn't even here yet; he's probably waiting for the right time. You had to give him some credit. He is the leader of a team after all. You sat and watched the TV until Leo came back out with Donnie. When Don saw that April got here earlier, he almost jumped at her but then caught eyes with Casey and his mood was immediately shot down.

You held in a small laugh and just smiled at Donnie's behavior. "Alright, now that everyone's here," Leo spoke up and everyone gave him their attention. "I think we've worked very hard the past few weeks and the streets are pretty calm at the moment. So, I propose we have a break this weekend." Mikey was more than happy; he started ranting about how they should have had this break sooner and whatever else. He also named about a thousand places that you should all go but April interrupted, "We've already decided to go to my family's old farm house, Mikey." He then was slumping over a bean bag and muttering things you didn't quite understand. You walked up to Leo after the announcement and jumped up to hug his neck, since you were about three inches shorter than him, "Does this mean we get some alone time? Just us," you purred in his ear and you felt his goosebumps that were rising but he pulled away again and you looked at him a bit pouty. "Um, yeah," he sounded unsure, "You better go pack. We'll be leaving soon. We'll stop by your apartment to pick you up on our way out." He regained his posture and went to the dojo, probably going to Master Splinter to say his farewell.
