Is this Goodbye? (Mikey)

PART 1

"I never got to say goodbye," seeing Mikey's frown always made everyone else upset and his family wanted nothing more than to see him smile again but there was nothing they could do. (Y/N) already left even though it hurt her more than they thought but she had her future to attend to. Leo sat next to Mikey with his hand on Mikey's shivering shoulder, "We're so sorry about (Y/N). We understand how much she means to you," Raph spoke up. He hated when Mikey cried; seeing this makes Raph even want to cry a little. "It's cool, dudes. I really just want to be alone for a while," Mikey's voice was shaky and pathetic as he held all his tears until he reached the privacy of his room. "Sure," Donnie said speaking for everybody as Mikey disappeared behind his door. "Sensei, what should we do?" Leo was quick to get answers but Splinter was walking back to the dojo. Before he disappeared as well, he offered his advice, "Let the heart find its way," and then he was gone.

The lair contained the same sounds that usually was emitted. Donnie was messing with something in his lab, Leo was in the dojo not really making any noises (probably in a trance), Raph was off to the side in the living area doing push-ups, and (Y/N) wasn't sure where Splinter was but (Y/N) was more focused on finding Mikey. Mikey and (Y/N) were the ones making the most ruckus. They got on the conversation of all the old games they used to play as kids, so they decided to play hide and go seek. Mikey and (Y/N) were more in touch with their inner child than most people but being more child-like wasn't a terrible thing. These qualities keep things interesting. "... three, two, one. Ready or not, here I come!"

First, (Y/N) checked the dojo. Leonardo was in a deep trance (as she suspected) when she entered; she kept in mind to stay quiet. (Y/N) tried looking around without disturbing the wise turtle but unfortunately, she was a bit of a klutz. (Y/N) tripped over some weapons that were leaned up against the wall and they fell to the ground along with her small body. Leo's eyes snapped open and darted over to her. (Y/N) shot up while rubbing the back of her neck with an apologetic smile. Leo seemed unfazed since he has witnessed her clumsiness before, "If you're looking for Mikey, he isn't in here." After that, Leo went straight back to meditating and (Y/N) continued her search for Michelangelo. Next, she checked Donatello's Laboratory. Donnie was currently working on upgrades for Metalhead when (Y/N) walked in.

Donnie glanced up from Metalhead and once he saw her, he knew exactly what was going on. He pointed towards the shellraiser just outside his lab before going back to work. (Y/N) was a little disappointed he told her where Mikey was since she was supposed to find him on her own but she still wanted to win too. (Y/N) entered the vehicle, trying her best to be as stealthy as possible. (Y/N) wasn't a full ninja yet but her and April both have been trying very hard to earn the kunoichi title. Almost as soon as (Y/N) entered she heard a gasp over her head and she looked up to find the one and only Michelangelo. He jumped down from the ceiling of the upgraded subway car. "How'd you find me so fast?" Mikey pouted which (Y/N) found adorable. She would never admit it but she was in love with the fun-loving turtle. (Y/N) had a feeling Mikey didn't understand one thing about relationships which was unfair but there's no telling how he would react to her confession. Sure, he liked Rennet but it was only a small silly crush. Plus, she's like a thousand years younger than him. The other problem was that he probably enjoys (Y/N)'s friendship much more and she decided to just ignore her feelings for Mikey. Easier said than done.

"I know you Mikey. I know how you think," (Y/N) lied but pride herself for finding him in record time. Mikey just scoffed and could see right through her lie, "Yeah right. D told you, didn't he?" (Y/N) shrugged her shoulders, refusing to tell, as she got off the shellraiser with Mikey behind her. Donnie was chuckling to himself when Mikey interrogated him. (Y/N) laughed along with him. Mikey turned to her when he had enough of Donnie's unanswered questions, "You play dirty, my friend," Mikey threw a smile (Y/N)'s way that melted her heart but the fire went away when he said "friend". "Do you want to play some more?" Mikey begged for another round of hide and go seek until (Y/N) agreed. The two enjoyed a few more games before relaxing with a good movie and a couple of pizzas. (Y/N) wasn't fond of pizza since she was self-conscious of being healthy but Michelangelo talked her into a few slices of vegetable pizza. They were sitting next to each other on the couch watching "Guardians of the Galaxy". They were about half way through the movie and Mikey already ate one full pizza and half of (Y/N)'s. One particular part in the movie made (Y/N) uncomfortable. Gamora and Star-Lord was having a moment. (Y/N) looked at Mikey for a little while and wished so bad she could just throw herself onto him. Thankfully, Mikey didn't notice her staring as he was consumed by the television screen. Mikey then suddenly busted out laughing, which brought (Y/N) out of her daze.
