I sat up in bed. Today's the second day. I don't have the bucket list with me, Hunter has it, since he's the one doing whatever activity is written down with me.
I got up, remembering yesterday. A small smile grew on my face as I remembered pushing Kayden into the water.
***Flashback to yesterday***
"Stop! Kayden! Stop!!", I squealed, kicking my feet in the air. Kayden grinned at me mischievously but set me down anyways. "Thank you", I huffed. I watched Blaine and Hunter in the water, yelling and cussing each other playfully.
I looked at Kayden to see him watching them as well, a small smile dancing on his lips. An idea popped into my head and I waited for a wave to come by again. As soon as it left I smirked at Kayden.
He looked at me warily and I used all my strength to push him down. I managed to get him into the wet sand and internally fist pumped the air. "Is that all you got?", He snickered, "I thought you were a lot stro-", he was cut off by a wave crashing down on him.
I heard laughter from Blaine and Hunter's directions, I look over to them to see they were doubled over laughing. Kayden grabbed my hand and pulled me down on top of him just as another wave came crashing down on us. "Oh my god Kayden! I was dry!", I complained.
"Does that mean...I made you wet?", he wiggled his eye brows suggestively. I gaped at him "No, no, no, no! Ew", I shuddered in disgust.
***End of flashback***
Chuckling to myself, I hurried to get ready. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and red flannel long sleeve shirt. I grabbed my white-grey converse and put them on.
I brushed my hair and tied it up into a ponytail. I grabbed my keys and phone. I quickly put on my black rimmed glasses. I slid down the banister and hopped off at the end. I picked up my bag by the door and left my house, locking the door on the way out. The boys had dropped me off to pick up my car yesterday. I had a lot of fun but I'm sure it's not going to last. I'm not sure if I trust them yet, it's only been a day. Well, a night and a day.
I hopped into my car and drove to school.
***
Sighing, I got out of my car, I'm so glad today's Friday to be honest, I stepped inside school and then the chatter started.
"Oh my god. Like, who does she think she is?!". Who do you think you are?
"Why's she hanging out with the new boys? They're way too good for her". I know hon.
"She is like, so totally gross, like ugh". Eye roll.
"I know right". What a great answer.
"She better watch her back. I heard that Jack and friends are gonna be doing something to her today".
At that one I gulped. I'm not looking forward to that. Last week they got a freshman to walk around school offering pieces of cake to people. Now this is an innocent freshman who had no idea what she was doing, but she was told to keep a specific slice especially for me.
So when I saw her with cake, my immediate response was to go up and ask for some, which she willingly gave over. I should've known something was wrong when she wasn't rude to me. As soon as I took a bite, everyone started laughing. There was a whole heap of chilli powder in the freaking cake slice.
