That night, Annabelle went to the hospital to be treated for both a stab wound and a bullet wound. She had hated every second of it. She hated hospitals and she despised putting her life in the hands of a stranger. Had it not been for Jessi's insistence, she would have no doubt taken care of it herself. Two weeks after her admission into the hospital, she was discharged, much to her relief. She refused help from Roger, Mina, Jessi and Dan to help her back to her apartment, insisting on bringing herself there. Anna hated feeling incapable.

And so, as soon as Annabelle stepped into her apartment, it hit her. It was over. She was done. The NPA was no longer around, she was no longer an assassin. The truth about who she was and where she came from was known to her now. She could live her life as normal person. She could change her name back to Gabrielle Trainor. She could do anything she wanted. But when Jessi asked if changing her name was what she wanted to do, Annabelle said no. She was no longer Gabrielle Trainor. She will never be Gabrielle Trainor ever again. That part of herself had been wiped out. The only person she knew how to be was Annabelle and that was how it was going to remain.

But as time flew by, Anna grew curious. She wanted to know more about who she previously was. Questions screamed for answers. She wanted to know her parents, her brother, how they lived, if they were happy. Now that the truth was so clear, she couldn't ignore it. It slapped her in the face over and over again, drawing attention. And so, finally, Anna and Jessi decided to take a plane to Miami, where she will begin to find herself again

Mina and Dan were on Cloud Nine. After Anna was discharged, Mina had decided to stay with Anna in her apartment, while Dan went back home. Mina's parents didn't mind her staying with a friend, having no knowledge that it was just them alone in the house. She loved every second of it. It was like a never ending sleepover, and then, it was like a never ending double date every time Jessi and Dan came over. She was happy. Best friend, best boyfriend. What could go wrong?

When Anna left, Mina was a little sad. She wanted to go with her but Anna said she didn't have to. Jessi's accompaniment was the only one she was willing to allow and so they had left Mina on her own. Even when school started again, Mina was missing her best friend. They even gave her a new roommate, a silent Asian girl. Dan was an awesome companion, but Mina couldn't help worry about Anna, whereever she was.

Angela Staton wasted absolutely no time getting out of the country. When they left the building where everything went down, Angela had already called her father. She wanted to leave, she had said. Send me to the Caribbean, she had said. She was traumatized and she had to get away from it all. So, after Angela said her reluctant thank you to Anna for saving her life, she jumped on the nearest plane to Jamaica. Her excuse was that she needed to relax after all that trauma, but, in reality, Angela wanted to forget it all. She didn't want to remember how many dead bodies she had seen that night, she didn't want to remember the fear that had lodged her throat when she thought Anna had died, she wanted to forget everything. And the only way to do that was to get away from it. She stayed in touch with no one else but her father, reassuring him that she wasn't going mad. As for her two best friends, Angela said nothing. She couldn't bear to bring herself back into all that mess. And so, she stayed in Jamaica.

With the NPA now disbanded, Roger was out of work. But that didn't stop him. His only skill was being a spy. As much as he hated to admit it, he could do nothing else but that. And plus, he wasn't ready to give up the money that kind of work brought in.

Still, he didn't go job hunting until Anna was discharged. He stuck around her hospital room, much to her boyfriend's annoyance, since he had nothing else to do. At one point, Jessi and Roger even almost got into a fight because of it, and they would have too since Anna was making no move to stop it and it was up to Mina to break it up. He loved getting the boy jealous and since it looked like Anna didn't care, he did it as often as he could.

When Anna was discharged, he began searching for jobs. At one point he had to accept working as an assistant to a big CEO who loved his face before the CIA approached him. He dropped that job immediately. After all, the only thing he was good at was being a spy.

He never saw the interesting blond girl again. She had left the same night Anna was admitted into the hospital. He found himself wanting to see her again, if only just to get her to argue with him. But, alas, that never happened.

And so, with Anna and Jessi en route to Miami, Mina and Dan living in relationship bliss without their two best friends around at school, Angela camping it out lavish style in Jamaica and Roger making women's jaws – and drawers – drop with his cool suave, the danger was gone, it was all over and it only too them three month and a mountain load of dead bodies for that to happen.

Okay, I'm sorry I had no idea how to end it off and so I just shoved that little paragraph in there at the end. I'll try to fix it up later when my head is screwed on straight.

Thank you all for reading this book! I loved all the support it got and I really hope you enjoyed it :)

(Contemplating a sequel)
